"The check-in experience was good. The guy who checked me in upgraded my room and arranged a late check-out. The room was also spacious, clean and tidy. Welcome fruit was given after check-in. The clothes were also good and I had a good sleep. The only suggestion is that the breakfast should be better managed. When I went downstairs to have breakfast that day, I checked and put it at the door of the restaurant, but I found that there was no seat at all. There were still a steady stream of guests coming in to have breakfast. As a result, I could only eat a few bites at the bar after getting the meal. The breakfast noodles were a bit delicious🤣"

The 24-hour airport shuttle service was a huge plus, and it was great that they offered early check-in (two hours, subject to availability) and late check-out until 2 PM (also subject to availability). Everything was really well done. The room was spotless, and the location near the airport is super convenient. Even the food was delicious! I'll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Changsha. See you then!"

"Such a comfortable stay!
For this business trip to Changsha, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Shijing Plaza and was genuinely pleased! Although the hotel isn't in the city center, it's located in Changsha County, and getting around is still pretty easy. It's about a 10-minute walk to the metro station, and less than half an hour by taxi to the airport. This makes it suitable for both business trips and weekend getaways.
**The room was very comfortable**
The front desk staff was incredibly nice and gave me a complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room. The window offered a stunning, expansive view directly overlooking Songya Lake. The room felt brand new, and the bed and pillows were so plush, I slept soundly. The ergonomic chair at the desk was very comfortable, making even late-night work feel less tiring. The bathroom had a smart wet/dry separation, and the shower boasted excellent water pressure.
**The service was very attentive**
All the staff were smiling and always offered a friendly greeting. When food delivery arrived at the front desk, they would call to confirm, which was both secure and reassuring. The staff member at the lounge was especially warm and welcoming. The welcome drink offered a choice of red wine or juice, which was a thoughtful touch.
**Convenient for dining, entertainment, and activities**
The breakfast spread was quite varied, offering both Chinese and Western options, and you could even enjoy authentic Changsha rice noodles. There's a shopping mall right downstairs from the hotel, so you don't have to go far for dining or shopping. In the evening, you can also take a leisurely stroll by the nearby Songya Lake, which offers beautiful scenery.
Overall, this Crowne Plaza truly offers excellent value for money, with fantastic service and modern facilities. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Changsha!"

"The hotel is 1.4 kilometers away from the South Station subway station. It is best to take a taxi from the subway station. There is a large viaduct entrance and exit at the entrance of the hotel. The sound insulation is good and no car noise is heard. It should be convenient for self-driving tours? The room is fully equipped with basic electrical appliances, and there is a mobile phone charger at the window (it seems to be charged). The room was basically clean when I checked in, and I wiped it with wet wipes to avoid dust, but I found a snail shell on the chair leg by the window. I don't know what happened. There is a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel and a vending machine on the first floor. You don't need to go out to buy food and drinks. The picture shows the viaduct entrance and exit that you need to pass by when walking to the hotel gate."

"Kanglai Hotel is located at the strategic location facing diagonally the flight path from other cities to Changsha Huanghua Airport. From the room allocated to me, I can see the inbound flight in flight but not when the flight lands or departs. To see the flight landing and taking off, walk 30 minutes to the inner path next to the vacant Hede Business Hotel located along Airport Road to reach Hunan General Aviation Head Office and walk to the space behind the vacant headquarters. Enroute, I pass by the public toilet building, the aviation school for youths, China Post cargo and mail processing centre and two bus stops.
I feel sense of accomplishment after shooting many photos of aircraft landing including the extremely rare West Air A319neo.
I am satisfied with my hotel selection and visit to the hotel after the airport staff called the hotel to pick me up at Door 4 on the departure level. I am also satisfied with the very high level of cleanliness like disinfected towels.
I hope to stay in Room 8901 in Kanglai Hotel again if I planned a summer trip to Changsha Huanghua Town."

"Best money I've spent recently!
I had a late arrival yesterday evening and an early flight this morning, so staying in the city center wasn't practical. I looked for hotels near the airport, and the top contenders were Howard Johnson and voco, an IHG brand.
**[Room Upgrade]** Voco is quite new. I contacted their reservations department, and they not only confirmed a room upgrade but also included a complimentary breakfast!
**[Airport Shuttle]** A truly excellent stay. They offer complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off, and the pick-up point is super easy to find right outside the terminal! Perhaps I got lucky, as I was the only passenger for both the pick-up and drop-off, so it was a direct trip with no waiting around.
**[Location]** Just a 5-minute drive from the airport, incredibly convenient.
**[Service]** The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They also have a laundry room with washer-dryer combos, and it was practically empty, so no waiting needed. The hotel also features a gym and a buffet restaurant. You can even ship luggage from the front desk via SF Express, which is super convenient – just fill out the address slip and hand it to the staff.
**[Dining]** For dinner, I ordered takeout from the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. It was authentic Hunan cuisine and absolutely delicious!"

"The hotel is antique and relatively new, the environment is pretty good, and the overall atmosphere is elegant with a scent of books. The whole hotel has fresh air, the room is bright, and there are two windows for ventilation. I like their tables the most. They are square and not cramped at all. There is tea set on the table, but unfortunately I don’t have time to prepare it. Other normal toiletries are available, and the bed and pillows are pretty good and comfortable. The most important thing is that there are not many choices for breakfast. . . There was no coffee at all, which was totally unexpected. Well, let's order takeout. We can get MANNER nearby.

The breakfast was very rich. There were many people during the festival, and the breakfast area was messy. There were also many people wasting food, and many of them were thrown on the table. I feel sorry for the chefs and service staff. It is recommended that those who waste too much simple buffet breakfast can be fined appropriately.
Because it was the last day of the trip to Changsha, I had breakfast and took a comfortable bath 🛀, and left after a good rest. It was a perfect stay experience.

The most important:
The room was fresh and smell-free, and the bedding was very clean. The mattress is very comfortable. I don't know if it is latex that is more than 5cm thick on the mattress. I need a good rest after driving for a day. Don’t be too comfortable with three or four windows in a room.
Room facilities:
There are all the regular supplies. The shampoo and shower gel are very easy to use. My hair was smooth the next day. The towel was used to wipe hair. It smelled like a disinfectant cabinet. It must have been disinfected carefully. UV rays add a toasty flavor.
Disadvantages:
It's not easy to find. Although it is on the roadside, there is no obvious name brand. You can only see it from the inside of the building on the 13th floor.
The door cannot be locked from behind, and merchants should reinforce this point.
The toothbrush is a bit hard.

GGuest UserI didn't think of commenting until the last day of my stay. The hotel I booked for my colleagues during the exhibition received unanimous praise. The key point is that it is close to Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center and is convenient for walking. The restaurants and subway stations next to it are nearby, which is convenient for eating. The breakfast is good, especially the Changsha rice noodles are delicious. The breakfast variety is also very complete and the taste is good. The facilities are complete, there is a self-service coffee machine at the front desk, and there are sofas and round tables in the lobby bar for us to meet guests and chat. The room is clean, the towels are very thick, the sound insulation is good and quiet, and the stay experience is very good.

IIts_tashThe passage carpets smells a little off, the room was pretty decent though they was only one toilet paper, signing in is easy and straightforward, there is no sound proof for the rooms so most voices are heard from the outside, hot water gets cold really fast.
Overall it’s good for a one night stay when travelling, very close to the Dalucan subway station and the airport.

GGuest UserA huge room with electric curtains and comfortable bed. I arrived late and had just arrived in China without any meals being served on the plane. They offered to order food for me on a food APP and had it delivered to the front desk and then brought it up to my room. Very kind, helpful people working there.
The first time it might be a little tricky to find the hotel as it is inside a building near another hotel, but all the locals know the place and just ask anyone and they’ll lead you there.
The next morning enjoyed a free shuttle to the airport to catch the Maglev to the South in Station.
Everything about the hotel experience was great.

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!
