"This is the best and most satisfying hotel I have ever stayed in when traveling in Guangxi. The yard is full of flowers and plants. I have never seen this kind of flowers before. They are strange and beautiful. There is a big swimming pool, which is clean and beautiful. The breakfast is quite rich and tastes great. The fried noodles are especially delicious. It is very close to Silver Beach, just a few minutes' walk away. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Qiaogang Style Street. It is convenient for travel. The room is decorated very luxuriously. "This stay experience was great! As soon as I entered the hotel lobby, I was attracted by the bright and atmospheric decoration style. The front desk staff smiled kindly, the check-in was quick and efficient, and also reminded the surrounding play guides. The room was clean and tidy, the details were full: the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and it was super decompressed when I lay on it; The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the quality of toiletries is online, and there is a faint fragrance. "I stayed here with my girlfriend during the Chinese new year, and we loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially the boy who helped with our luggage and the restaurant staff, such as Wang Xiaomei who welcomed us each morning. The hotel is very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The only problem I had, as with all HI hotels I’ve stayed in recently, is that the pillows are uncomfortable and need replacing, and the duvet is far too thick for the warm weather in Beihai. Also, they advertised on Ctrip that they have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work. Overall, a good stay though thanks to the staff."

"The staff were very friendly and greeted everyone they met. Upon arriving at the hotel, someone helped with our luggage. Since we had quite a lot of luggage, they even found a luggage cart to take us inside. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with a limited variety.

Crowne had all the things needed. But, stock the bar to fit the menu advertised ;-) Make sure to trek to the art gallery and IOMA. Big Whale bar is on the walkway behind the hotel. Snacks and full bar. About 25-30 minutes from Old Street and 15-29 minutes from the Weizhou Ferry Port (has mall). Fireworks beach maybe 10 minutes away with food stalls."

All the people in the homestay are very enthusiastic, just like the family, the reception and service are warm and thoughtful. The environment, layout, and items can be seen as people with a very taste and style of life, green plants wrapped, there are super cute two small cats, dragonflies, brocades and other small animals, people who love life will raise so many small animals. Afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious, suitable for taking pictures and punching in, and the taste is also very good. The breakfast was delicious, and a very exquisite souvenir was given away from the store, and every link was full of details. GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

IIsland Girl AngeleneOh my goodness!!!!!! We had an amazing time here! We went to celebrate out 9th wedding anniversary and I'm glad we chose this place. Upon arrival to the island, our host sent a driver to collect us at the port, and take us to our destination (free of charge). When we got to the villa, I was pleased with the warm greeting we received and the overall surroundings. The place was clean, tranquil and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised when we were gifted a cake and drinks from our host. However, I was totally blown away wjen I saw our room! The view was everything! When we stepped out onto our private balcony, we had the best view of the beach and surrounding areas. Additionally, I must say that it was a priceless experience to witness the sunrise and high tide from that angle.
The chef was unable to be there because of personal reasons, but our host made sure that we were well taken care of, regarding other dining options on the island and he even recommended a driver to take us to good food joints. The driver turned out to be our chaperone for the entirety of our stay.😂 Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the company of the resident dog (which looks fierce, but is actually very friendly).❤️
Thanks to the caring nature of our hosts, our trip to the island was excellent and my only regret it that we didn't book to stay longer! 😭 Now that I have had this experience, I look forward to coming back to Weizhou Island, and staying at this villa. It was well worth the price!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

The security guards are very responsible, and the entertainment staff are very professional and friendly. The management of the holiday is very good. GGuest UserA very design hotel, there is an elevator, the location is relatively remote, the nearest shell beach and the holy hall scenic area to ride an electric bike for about 10 minutes, the main one is a hidden wind, and the big countryside on the dripping Danping Shiluokou is different, like quiet can choose here, It’s too important to ride a small eDonkey. The breakfast variety is quite rich and the food is very comfortable. I specially tasted the hotel’s Thai food at lunch. I recommend fried hollow cabbage. It is better than curry. The disadvantage is that many rooms have small windows and the lighting is a bit dark. I prefer the sun to shine in or through the sight. The front desk also helped buy seafood on behalf of it, which is not expensive.

The biggest draw for us was its private beach, renowned for its beautiful sunsets, as well as the swimming pool with water slides and engaging family-friendly activities. Upon arrival, a warm and friendly gentleman greeted us right from the taxi, helping with our luggage and guiding us to check-in. The front desk staff member was equally attentive, meticulously explaining all the details of our room package. Our room itself was spacious and bright, truly living up to its 'sea-view' name. Drawing back the curtains revealed not only the beautiful ocean but also a picturesque boardwalk stretching over the water. We even enjoyed a spectacular sunset right from our window in the evening – it was absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's dining options were extensive, featuring fresh ingredients and top-notch service. The family activities were thoughtfully curated, catering to children of all ages with fun and well-planned programs. The beachcombing on the private beach felt particularly safe and wasn't crowded; an early start even yielded some wonderful treasures. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable stay and the perfect choice for a relaxed family getaway. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI listened to my husband and booked a suite at the hotel a month in advance. I didn't expect that the hotel would upgrade to the best room when I checked in! I was very happy to get this little happiness during the May Day holiday! I originally liked the location of Guantouling. On the way to the hotel, I felt like I was in a secluded place with winding paths. The hotel has good services in all aspects, is very close to the beach, and its own swimming pool is also very suitable for family travel.
