Escape to our 1-bed, 1-bath log cabin 10 minutes from Bancroft on beautiful Lake Baptiste. Ideal for snowmobiling and ice fishing enthusiasts in winter, with trails and lakes nearby and ATVing, hiking, fishing and more during the summer. Boat launch and OFSC trail entrance steps away from property. 100's of ATVing trails to explore. Self-check-in, host on-site. Ample parking for vehicles and toys. Linens and towels included. Hilltop Cabin is a cozy 420 sq. ft. log cabin situated on our 3.5 acres of property. Cabin includes 1 bedroom with queen size bed as well as a double pull out in the livingroom. Kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics including cooking equipment, spices, coffee, tea, condiments. Private fire pit for all season use. Wood and fresh eggs available for purchase from hosts.Guests enjoy the entire cabin and are welcome to use any of the property other than the immediate area around the main house. We have chickens living on site at the back of the property (no rooster). They are quiet and do not free roam. We also have a super friendly dog who will want to be your best friend but please let us know if anyone in your party is afraid of dogs so we can keep him tethered near the house. Chickens are always happy to have visitors as well!If you have concerns, requests or questions during your stay, please feel free to reach out to us on the Vrbo platform or by text. We are always happy to rectify any problems that may arise or accommodate any reasonable requests. Welcome to our recently renovated cottage. Cate (my wife) stills gives me a hard time about a 3 year renovation after she passingly mentioned a little more space would be nice lol. Due to busy schedules we haven't used the cottage very much in the fall and winter and thought it might be nice for others to explore the bancroft area we have come to love so much.Our cottage has an open concept living space with satelite TV, internet, and a gas fireplace. There are 4 bedrooms 1-king bed, 1- queen bed, 2 single beds, and a twin over double bunk. There are 2 bathrooms one with a tub and one with a stand up shower. The cottage has central heating and has lots to offer for all seasons. There are hiking trails, biking, parks, and other seasonal attractions. Atv'ing, snowmobiling, fishing/ice fishing are also very popularThe town of bancroft is a 15 minute drive and has everything you would need. 2 grocery stores, canadian tire, shoppers drug mart, lots of restaurants.
