Booked this for my parents because I stayed there before. Would highly recommend this place. Going back to the hotel feels like home. The room (more like a studio or one bedroom apartment) was very spacious and you can treat it like a short-term stay as the room had everything you need. You can watch tv, cook and even do your laundry, all within the confines of your very spacious living space.

Was a great location. Tram stop right out front. Didn't use the facilities (pool, sauna, gym) but checked them out. All look good. Unfortunately the pool is outside and not heated. Room was a little smaller than expected from pictures but was perfect for what we needed.

- No tap water for drinking - Have hot water for only 1st night but 2nd night it’s too cold :( - No soundproof - Price is reasonable - Staffs are nice and helpful.

Excellent breakfast. Chef cook with passion. Food comes in small portions and frequently top up. Location is excellent. Very close to Chinatown

The stay was small as I only needed it for one night, but the room itself was also quite small. The room had a single bed on wheels that would move very freely whenever I tried to sit down on it. The bathroom, however, was the most surprising as it was way too small, even for just myself. I noticed the toilet was rather close to the sink, so I tried to sit on the toilet and I physically could not do it because the sink was in the way of my legs. I had to walk sideways into the shower to use it and water was shooting very fast at the wall opposite, so showering was tricky. There is also a lift / elevator that is currently out of commission and pears to being repaired, yet the sign for the other lift appears not to be installed correctly. This is quite the disappointment for a Best Western hotel and the discounted cost of $90 was still too much to pay for what I received. I would possibly tolerate paying $60 - $70 per night for a room like that (at regular price) just because of the location and literally nothing else, but it is not worth the regular cost of well over $100 per night and there are less expensive hotels nearby that provide bigger and better rooms.

This property is very close to everything. Staff are kind & helpful, easy check in & check out. Clean, comfy bed with modern bathroom however the floor quite slippery when wet it needs bathroom rail it's risky & dangerous to fall which is safety & health issues I hope the management will look into this matter. Other than that, my stay was pleasant & consider to stay here again in my future trips. I highly recommend to travellers to stay in this hotel.

Never stay on Saturday. HOW can one sleep next to nightclub noise until 5 am. The nightclub next door is IN open air. The heavy metal music penetrates even fully closed windows at 6th floor.The mega base shakes the walls too. Wonder how the patrons in the nightclub can stand such level of noise. Hearing aids clinic should open next door. It is crazy Melbourne government can issue the license so they can run the business scraficing wellbeing and welfare of neighboring residents.

Spent a little extra to upgrade to a high city view room . Well worth the extra $30 , view was great . Room large but a little tired looking ,decor dated especially the bathroom . Hard to control the temperature in the room. Bed was comfortable though and suited us for Grand Prix weekend. Would likely try another brand next time though as needing a revamp

It was a nice stay with a great room and the Manager was lovely his English is. Terrific. And I have a feeling that he does all this work on his own.
