HAMPTON INN AND SUITES BY HILTON INTERCOURSE

We were looking forward to staying here when it was completed as we are in the area often. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Housekeeping and breakfast staff do a great job. Room was spotless. We Would stay again when in the area.

The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton is well located at the main crossroads at Intercourse PA. It is a newer Hampton and was bright and easily accessible from the car park with luggage. Lots of easy parking. Check-in was trouble free and my room was bright and well appointed. I liked everything about the New Hampton style except for wooden floors in the bedroom. A couple of rugs placed strategically would solve this. I am glad to say Hilton properties have started offering a bar of soap again, and not just the horrid dispensers which have become the norm. This Hampton is a perfect no-frills hotel from which to explore the charming and fascinating local are and is highly recommended. Breakfast was the usual Hampton disposable plates and bowls fare and also perfectly adequate.

I’ll start with the good. The hotel is very new and modern and all the amenities you would expect. It’s conveniently located in the town with good access to the surrounding Amish country side and good Pennsylvania Dutch restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pretty much the Hampton standard, with the exception of the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was a good real sausage and very well made. Now the not so good. My wife and I travel quite a bit and always look for the Hampton brand when it’s available and not overly priced. One thing that we’ve always liked is the quality and comfort of the beds and Bedding. Hamptons have always been very good and dependable for that to us. Unfortunately that was not the case and my primary reason for rating at 3 stars. The mattress and box springs have been replaced placed with box beds with a wood (exposed) frame (shin ouch). The mattress was thin and soft. Nothing like the Hampton quality and comfort we’ve come to enjoy and expect. On the up side the bedding was still good quality and comfortable. Hopefully this is not the new normal for Hampton. Except for the beds I would have given a 5 star review.

I booked a room at the Hampton Inn Intercourse after not wanting to stay in Philadelphia after a Phillies playoff game. The hotel was about an hour and a half from the stadium and it was well worth the trip. The hotel is new and beautiful located just across the street from Kitchen Kettle Village. It is such a quaint location! I had a small booking snafoo that was handled well by Angela who was very pleasant. The morning of the stay I received a text from Shannon making sure my stay was going well. What great service! The best part was the bill. This hotel is about 90 bucks a night lower than any other quality hotel in the area. I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Lancaster, PA is one of our favorite places to visit. We decided to stop by for a night on our way home from New England since we haven't visited the PA Dutch Country in several years. We were looking for a Hilton or Hampton Inn, so I searched the Hilton Honors website. I was happy to find a new Hampton Inn and Suites in the perfect area of Intercourse, PA, right across from Kitchen Kettle Village. The hotel had just opened a couple of months before, and they were still putting asphalt on the parking lot! If it hadn't been close to 100 degrees, we could have easily walked anywhere we wanted to go, but it was just too darn hot! We had booked the King standard room, but asked if we could upgrade due to our Gold rewards status. We were put in a King Suite which was very comfortable and roomy! I'm sure the regular room was just as cozy, but the entire place was lovely. It was a great stay and I will definitely be coming back when we come to pick up the furniture we ordered from the local furniture store!

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights (Tues-Thurs), we had 2 of the queen suite rooms. These rooms are huge! The rooms are soundproof, the beds are perfect. The bathroom is huge, tall ceilings, large walk in shower. And very clean! The children loved the pool, the breakfast was great. The lobby area has tons of seating and area to visit with the family throughout the day. Our group ranged from 10 years old-80 and we all thought this was the best hotel and was perfect for everyone. Every interaction we had with the staff was great, very friendly place. This place is wonderful!
