Layla Gocek Adults Only

We had a fantastic stay at the Layla Hotel in Göcek. The pools and the surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful, such a peaceful and relaxing setting, perfect for unwinding. Everything felt well maintained and very inviting. A special mention to Tanya at reception, who was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, she made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Göcek!

Set in tropical lush surroundings, Layla hotel was a sanctuary providing a wonderful opportunity for peace, relaxation and everything was wonderful! 💖😎

Had high hopes of this place. Sadly a total disappointment. Generally dirty room and furniture, service for dinner an absolute joke. Main course served up whilst still eating starters, and plonked down on top of starters plate! Staff members seemed totally untrained. We also had a child running around the pool which is a no no in an adult only hotel. Checked out early. Such a shame as this place could be stunning with the right management.

I am interested to see that so many recent reviews are excellent which is why we booked to go for a week in October. On first appearances it seemed a lovely oasis as someone mentioned, but we arrived at the end of the season and it felt that despite fewer guests staying we were very much bottom of the pile when it came to priorities. The day we arrived there were a number of people milling about as there had been a wedding and so our first breakfast was fantastic with a big spread laid out. That was the first and last time we saw it. The rest of our stay there was nothing laid out and there were no menus. I think they assumed we would just want an omelette as we were British. So each morning that seemed to be the one option. Little things were missing whilst charging premium prices as mentioned before. No staff in sight when you wanted something. Many times we went searching for any staff during the day. Reception not manned half the time and also dusty and very tired as previously mentioned. The toilet off reception was dirty with bin full and overflowing and not a nice smell. Drain smell. I saw on the pics initially that there were chickens/cockerells etc, but I didn't realise that they plus two dogs, cats and peacocks roamed freely around the restaurant area and sunbeds around the pool. Dogs begging at the table with their head on your lap, cats rubbing against your legs whilst eating and then cats and dogs lying all over the towels on the sunbeds - I like animals but not when I'm eating. Also staff think that is okay and so they don't call them away. Staff were polite but only one spoke English and half the time the staff didn't understand you. I think in an international hotel you need to have staff who speak different languages. The owners were lounging around the hotel and pool. Wifi was good in the reception area but dodgy elsewhere which caused an issue as we were on a working holiday. The cheapest bottle of wine was £50 so we stuck to beer. Plates were small for £££ Lastly they were doing maintenance work (drilling etc) for a day while we were trying to relax around the pool. We asked them to stop but we pretty much got ignored by the workmen and the staff. Coffee is terrible and if you want one from the barista coffee machine you have to wait till midday to get one. No exceptions it seemed. On the last day the waiter from the restaurant literally stalked us having kept distant for our stay. It was rather creepy in fact. He couldn't do enough for us but it was overkill. We realised he wanted a tip which we gave to him, but it really put us off. Bikes which were advertised were all broken Yoga which was advertised was not available till later in the month Massage which was advertised was not available as the masseuse had gone on holiday which the hotel didn't seem to know about. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

My spouse and I came to Layla Hotel for a three-day stay during our vacation in Antalya for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Eucalyptus Room. From the moment we arrived to the day we checked out, everything was peaceful and beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were very satisfied, and we will definitely choose Layla Göcek Hotel for our future vacations. We have already recommended it to all our friends. Thank you, Layla Hotel. This is a magical place- truly unique. It is stunningly beautiful- from the pools, to the seating areas, to the wildlife walking around. The peacocks, roosters and (very tame) dogs were a joy. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were delightful; all of them, though I only remember Hassan by name. All were so kind to my elderly mother. I met some charming and interesting people- the kind this oasis would attract. I spend a quarter of my life on holiday and this place was beyond special.
