If you are looking for a traditional country pub vibe, this is it. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The room we were given was upstairs and small. The queen bed was comfortable with fresh linen and comfortable pillows but there was no room to walk around it as one side was up against the wall. The windows looked out to some sort of courtyard so if you wanted privacy you needed to keep the curtains closed. The ensuite was clean and the shower was good. Basic accommodation fit for the traveller who just needs a comfy bed and somewhere to get a feed and a drink.
