I quite enjoyed my stay. My room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows. The only thing I would change? I wish the hot water would have been hotter. It was plenty warm but I sometimes like super hot showers. But that's a minor thing. Overall, I definitely recommend.

COVID appears to be a cost savings ploy at this hotel, not an international pandemic where they care for their guest's safety. The pool is closed with a due to COVID sign. No problem. The breakfast,, which appeared to hold over the same food day to day was not self serve. It was "hosted" by an employee whom I watched side eye a guest asking for an additional piece of bread. That said, we did not see any employee wearing masks or maintaining distance from guests, who universally appeared to be masked. If Marriott doesn't require minimal safety precautions, this is concerning.

The staff went above and beyond and were extremely friendly during both interactions. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Indianapolis in a few weeks.

Upon arrival (which was booked/charged via *******) we were asked for a credit card for incidentals which is normal. However, we've been charged for the night's stay through the hotel. It took three tries before getting to a room that wasn't occupied or had issues (room #2 had a running toilet). The hallway on the floor we stayed had an odor to it as did our third room but at that point we didn't want do deal with the front desk/staff any further. The area around the hotel is okay with several dining options but it looks like it has seen better days (restaurant behind the hotel has gone out of business, parking lot over grown).

We enjoyed the room. It was comfortable, clean and equipped with everything we needed. I did wonder how we were to make the coffee, we had everything for coffee except the coffee pot??

The check-in process was smooth, but there were several things that we were upset about.
There were signs on the entry doors stating masks were required, but no staff wore masks.
The woman checking us in was constantly wiping/messing with her nose and had multiple piercings.
We were told that the workout facility was open, but not the pool. This makes no sense.
The rooms had weird and terrible smells.
