Hotel Villa Cesi provided a truly enchanting experience during my recent stay. Nestled amidst the picturesque Tuscan hills, the hotel's serene atmosphere was punctuated by the soothing sounds of cicadas singing in the trees. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to the attentive and professional staff who ensured a seamless arrival process. The room exceeded my expectations with its spaciousness and impeccable cleanliness. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing restful nights after days filled with exploration. The hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight, offering an array of high-quality dishes showcasing the region's exquisite flavours. The diverse menu catered to various tastes, and each meal was a testament to the chef's expertise. The pool area was a haven of relaxation, boasting a generous selection of sun loungers and beds for guests to unwind and soak up the Tuscan sun. The inviting ambiance made it the perfect spot to recharge and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Overall, Hotel Villa Cesi surpassed my expectations in every aspect. Okey minus hotel depending on your standard. Location, totally lost. Nothing near by. Great place for a rehab or detox from everything. The room was nice, but not as clean as I would expect. Breakfast - ok minus. Lunch - had none so we almost died from starvation. Dinner - ok minus..

An oasis of relaxation capturing real Tuscany feeling in the hotel and around it! Villa Cesi is a wonderful newly renovated hotel located in the in quiet surroundings of Impruneta, a short 20 min drive to Florence. The outdoor area of the hotel is very well maintained - large parking area, lots of private jacuzzi pools in the small green park and a superb swimming pool with confortable and cool sunloungers where we relaxed during hot August days. There is also a large terrase well fitted for parties and events. Electric bikes are available for rent and we used them to explore the charming surroundings. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and air-conditionair worked super well. Coffee and refreshing drinks are available at the bar, which are also served by the pool. In the restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Breakfast is plentiful and lunch & dinner a la carte, with delicious tuscany dishes. The hotel staff is pleasantly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful, relaxing and romantic stay there and I will totally recomand this hotel for anyone who wants to explore Tuscany area of Chianti, from Florence to Siena. Do not be turned down by previous reviews, they were written before extensive renovation done this year.

Horrible stay, cant believe it.. - Aircondition not working in 35 degrees (they didnt even inform us at check-in) - Fridges dont work - restaurant closed - Safe dont work - Things are broken everywhere - Dirty pool - Pool shower broken so People go in without showering first - Really bad and empty breakfest - Vending machine broken, so no way to access vold water - Not enough chairs at The pool It seems like it used to be a great 4 star hotel many many years ago, but now it cant be more than 2 stars. My best guess is that its going bankrupt and they are trying to save money. And thats not even everything…

Perhaps we were unlucky staying here while this area was experiencing very hot temperatures. But it wasnt a great stay. The manageress was lovely and seemed to be trying hard. Her English was good and I am sorry to be critical of a hotel where she has tried so hard but it was poor. On arrival we found out the chef had left with no likely replacement so no evening meals and we were in the middle of nowhere, not in Impruneta. The air conditioning had just been fixed so our room took some time to reach the desired temperature which is not unacceptable. The room safe was broken beyond repair. The shower often fell down as it was attached by one screw in an oversized hole. The pool outside had no shade. On one hot day we tried to find shade in the garden and were badly bitten. Overnight on the third night the airconditioning broke for the whole hotel and it was a very very uncomfortable night. We were promised all day that it would be fixed that day. Just after 6.15 pm when we realised it wouldnt be fixed that day we left. Despite having paid for four days we could only take two. The thought of staying overnight in a heatwave in a room with no air conditioning was too much. The hotel has undoubtedly seem better days.

Birthday party at this magnificent facility! New management, friendly, kind and very professional staff, especially Federica who organized my party! We had a private room, a wonderful setting with classy and comfortable armchairs! The icing on the cake is the fireplace, very curious to see it lit in winter. A rich private buffet was set up in the room with excellent hot and cold dishes! Everything exceptional!! We'll see you again in the summer for the fresh air and swimming pools!

After 4 nights they still haven't changed my sheets, no replacement of shampoo and/or shower gel.. I went to the supermarket to buy toilet paper as it was no longer available after the second day.. Empty bar fridge!!! This is unacceptable in a 4 star structure...

Together with my family we stayed for 3 days in this magnificent structure, the view from the room was splendid, everything was very clean and tidy, the rooms were always warm and furnished with excellent taste, the shower was large and had hot water available immediately. The brand new spa equipped with all services is also recommended. A special thanks to the reception staff who are always present, smiling and helpful. For work issues it has become a point of reference, it allows me to stay in a very short time both in Florence and in the villages of the Chianti Classico, at the same time quickly catching the motorway to return home. The location is perfect for those like me who love to combine the healthy aspect, from a jog in the surrounding olive groves to a good workout with the equipment made available in the spa. Note of thanks to the attentive and kind staff and undoubtedly to the breakfast which satisfies all palates, from sweet to savory through the Tuscan tradition.

We spent a very pleasant weekend at this property. The very nice swimming pool with numerous hydromassage pools where you can relax. The staff was very polite and courteous. The restaurant also left us pleasantly satisfied, with normal prices and excellent service. However, I was amazed by the countless negative reviews. We will definitely be back

the structure is totally new with kind and knowledgeable staff, the restaurant is also very good, you can rent bicycles, and go for walks surrounded by olive groves. I will definitely return

We organized the reception and dinner for our wedding here, trusting in the potential of the new management; we were very happy with our choice. The location is very beautiful, in the middle of the pine forest and with newly renovated rooms. The external environment is perfect for a reception, both during the day with the awning to give shade to the guests and the nearby swimming pool, and at night with lighting that enhances the location. The internal environment includes both a veranda room overlooking the pine forest and a more internal and conditioned one; having a large air-conditioned room at the end of July was decisive. The staff and ownership were precious and helpful from planning, to advice, to welcoming. The kitchen particularly impressed us with its care in following our requests and the various food intolerances (coeliac and lactose intolerant groom, for starters), agreeing on a tailor-made menu, a wedding cake prepared especially for us, and external refreshments so tasty enough to tempt guests several times. We recommend the property warmly, and will return to take advantage of their services.

Not a very recent structure but renovated and under new management. Ideal location for visiting Chianti, Florence, Volterra, San Giminiano, Siena without giving up relaxation. A beautiful park with swimming pool and 5 hot tubs all functioning and distributed on pitches. Excellent value for money. Standard room, welcoming, clean and pleasant. Everything working. Excellent breakfast, possibility to dine at the restaurant with excellent prices. Great helpfulness and kindness of the staff. We will certainly return

What a surprise we encountered during our tour through Tuscany. Highly recommended. This hotel was taken over by other owners a year ago and what a great place this is with super friendly people. The older reviews certainly do not apply to how you find the hotel now. It is a beautiful hotel with a swimming pool and private jacuzzis in the middle of the woods. So a wonderful stay. The dinner and breakfast are great. The waiter gets a big 10 from us, what a friendly man who is ready for you at all times. The other staff are also very friendly. The hotel has been modernized with decorative stucco work and the beds sleep wonderfully. All in all great. If you are driving the wine route in Tuscany, do not miss this hotel.
