Brought my wife and daughter here for a weekend getaway in the mountains. The hotel room was nicely finished and clean, but the hotel itself was a bit underwhelming given the price I paid, considering the other hotel(s) operating during the slow months (Oct-May). The bed wasn’t very comfortable and my wife left with considerable back pain.
The hotel staff were generally friendly, except for one staff member in the restaurant who was acting rather condescending towards the other staff member, right in front of us; we felt that it was a bit inappropriate. Desk clerk upon checkout asked me to wait while he chatted with someone else about things that were not business related. The food was a bit overpriced for what you get, as well. I felt they could have also had some breakfast items out in the morning as there is otherwise nowhere to go for breakfast during the off months when many businesses are shut down.
Nice enough hotel, but kinda overpriced. Not sure id stay there again if I came back to Waterton.
