The surrounding environment is very quiet, and there are bonfires and barbecue facilities in the public area.
The heating in the room is great, there is a fireplace and a microwave oven, and the environment inside the wooden house is rather cozy
Fortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator. Although there are only two floors, the suitcase is too heavy and you have to carry it upstairs by yourself. This is inconvenient. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the town, but the price is quite expensive. If you are in a small town It is not easy to park, after all, this hotel has free parking

Excellent location, hotel, and service. There was no a/c, fridge, microwave, or iron in the room. Also, don't forget to bring your mosquito repellent as there are a lot of mosquitos in the area. The restaurant was just OK. We gas our paid breakfast and the tea and coffee were cold. Also, its price wasn't mentioned in the menu.
Advantages: snow wooden house, quiet environment, strong winter atmosphere, suitable for two or three days, located between Banff Town and Louise Lake, it is very convenient to play; the cookies are delicious
Disadvantages: check-in time is late (four o'clock in the afternoon), check-out time is early (11 o'clock in the morning), you can't sleep in the morning; there are fewer facilities in the room, no coffee tea kettle or the like, no hair dryer, you have to drink water and the like to go to the entrance service desk
Stay at Rimrock Resort was wonderful right from checkin to checkout. The ladies at checkin were very friendly and professional. They provided us with a free upgrade to the mountain view room on 9th floor. The room had wonderful views and made our stay memorable. We tried buffet breakfast as Primrose and really loved their smoothies. Service was great too. Unfortunately couldn't use pool and hot tub since they were closed on the day of our stay . I wish we could have stayed few more days at Rimrock
Compared to the hotels in the center of Banff Town, this hotel is so great! Very suitable for self-driving, the hotel is 3 kilometers away from the center of Banff Town, with its own free shuttle bus to the town center, and the scenery is excellent. The cabins are spacious and well-equipped, and there are hot spring pools to help you eliminate a day's fatigue. The most important thing is that the service is so good. I asked for a knife to cut salami, and they sent me a new knife and a cutting board. I was really touched! I have collected it and will stay here again if I have the chance!
The room was clean, but the building, furniture, carpet, curtains, and everything else in the room was out dated. Overall, it was a good experience. Lake louise is at 10 min drive.
Having spent some 4 weeks touring through Alberta and the Rockies, and staying in many hotels and lodges, can now claim to have found a jewel in Lake Louise. Mountaineer Lodge is ideally located for hiking to the louise lake, just off the highway and next to a very convenient mall. Parking is free.
Reception was first class, friendly and helpful.
Had a first floor apartment (2 large double beds) The apartment decor is first class, looks newly decorated, well lit and large. Everything needed is available, and the breakfast is included in the price.
Cost of the apartment was 1/3 of Banff prices, quality first class and could not find any faults with our entire stay.
Only wish that we could stay longer, but will most certainly be staying again.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
