I was here in October 2016 but I did not have Tripadvisor then. I was with my friend and we had a lovely stay! Such nice staff, and everyone was so nice to us and made suggestions with what we can do in the city center that day, the hotel manager always helped us with prices and gave us a map and explained a lot about the city. We were sitting with him some evenings and drank tea. And we did not feel uncomfortable at all any Second in the hotel, even as two young women in a hotel with mainly male staff. The first night we did sleep at the other house (there are 3 houses) which was not so nice, but they were fully booked and in the next morning we could even chose our room. It was beautiful and huge! It is not a classic hotel, but a huge house that was converted into a hotel. But I liked the concept, since it was a small hotel with ＞20 rooms and the staff knew all their guests. Breakfast was very good, every day we got a different Moroccan breakfast specialty. Free shuttle to the city center 4x a day, we always spend the morning and afternoon at the pool and went to the city centre for late afternoon and evening. The shuttle driver also helped us to get a taxi in the city center and told the taxi driver to make us a good price would stay there again!

If I could give this place 7 stars out of 5, I would. This riad was a highlight of our trip - not only is the guesthouse itself perfect, but more importantly, the family running it are so kind, authentic and helpful, that you immediately feel it is a home away from home. The riad is fantastically located with panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding mountains including the Jebek Toubkal, the tallest mountain in North Africa. The rooms all have wonderful details like a few items of Berber clothing for you to try on either to keep warm or simply for fun and plaster decoration on the ceiling. They are quiet, clean and comfortable with showers with excellent water pressure and hot water. The food is excellent and served in a dining room draped with Berber rugs and surrounded by delictately carved wooden furniture, with the panoramic view of the mountains. We also enjoyed chatting with other guests here. Most importantly, the manager Rashid is a kind and energetic soul who will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great trip. We arrived late on the first day, after a long drive, and he showed up in the village centre to help us navigate the rickety road to get to the guesthouse; he managed to sort out rooms for us when we booked super last minute and theoretically the guesthouse was all booked up (including arranging one at his uncle's place next door); he organized a guided trek up Toubkal for us with a great guide (Hassan) for a reasonable price; he lent us a sleeping bag and gloves for the trip, at no extra cost; and he spent time chatting with us, in a way that made us feel like friends, not clients, and gave us a great insight into local life. His niece, Bouchra (apologies if the spelling is wrong, I should have asked how to spell it!), who helps him run the guesthouse was also an absolute star - thanks to both of you! Staying with you was really special.

Fabulous and fun stay at Kenzi club Agdal Medina. Nothing is too much trouble from checking in at reception, helped to our room, to lounging by the pool, enjoying the restaurant and night time vibes. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, we had a suite and it was clean, spacious and modern. Restaurant staff Yassine, Fettah, Mohamed during the day and Youseff at night went above and beyond to make our meal times enjoyable. Animations team Simo, Abdel, Zack, Youseff provided all day and night entertainment which kept us laughing 24/7. Kids club brilliant. Music around the pool could be louder, to give more of a club atmosphere and to be heard in the pool bar area. Pool bar staff busy but drinks always served after a short wait. Pool bar area could do with some cushioned seating around the perimeter with cushions for a lounge feel otherwise great hotel and staff. Will be back in the summer!

I give 1 star for the beautiful setting they created. It is not without reason that it is the Instagram place to be in the Agafay desert. I give 1 star for the concept of installing hostel rooms. This gives solo travelers the opportunity to enjoy it here. The dorms are spacious and the beds comfortable. However, they are located next to the electricity generators. So bring earplugs. The communal bathrooms are extremely clean and pleasant. Congratulations for this. For the rest I don't give a star for the service. The worst I've ever had. It started at check-in at 3:30 PM. The dorm wasn't ready, I couldn't get a bed until 5:30 PM. For the rest, every service in the restaurant is with apologies. They know they are doing a bad job. Slow, unprofessional for a international company like Selina. There are not enough staff members and the ones there all incompetent. I don't give a star for the food. The most tasteless thing I've eaten in years. Small portions for extremely high prices. I don't give a star for the Selina chain. I expected something, but got nothing instead. For such a large international company, they do not have the daily management in good hands. I give the project 1 year and it is done this way. For example, the unfriendly reception at the reception and the impossibility of checking in before 5:00 PM. The website also states that smoking is not allowed, even though there are dozens of people smoking everywhere. Ashtrays are also provided. And worst of all, a tent recently went up in flames. As management you should remove this immediately the next day. This does not show a professional attitude and discourages guests to have a safe feeling
