Super Hotel Imabari

This is a very good hotel in Japan. Cleanliness is a must, the rooms are larger than other hotels, the location is great, and the front desk staff speaks fluent English (I suspect some of them are Filipinos). The staff are also very friendly.

The staff are very humble and welcoming. The public bath is small, but in a business hotel in town, even a large bath is a relief. The twin room was extremely inconvenient. Most of the room is occupied by a bed! To get to the bed, which is located at the back, you have to squeeze through a 30cm gap along the wall. To make matters worse, there's a huge TV right at your face, and a pillar at the foot of the bed, so you have to jump onto the bed through a gap of just a few centimeters. There's barely any space to put a travel bag anywhere else, and after about an hour, you're completely exhausted. It might be quite difficult for someone who doesn't like confined spaces. Considering everything else about the hotel, the small size of the room is a real shame. The key is a six-digit password system, and you're given a receipt-sized piece of paper. It's so thin, it seems like it could easily be stolen. It requires careful management. I think a regular card key would be better.
