Traditional Japanese inn, excellent cuisine, overlooking the sunrise over Tatara Bridge, is a great attraction. The hot spring area is small but comfortable, it is a hotel worth visiting

Very good, highly recommended. Suitable for a rest during the Shimanami Kaido ride. The lady boss is very polite and the breakfast is great.

Some rooms have independent bathtubs, and some have to go to public bathhouses, which close at 8:30pm. The staff is very friendly, but they don't understand any foreign languages.

Every year, we stayed in a special room on our wedding anniversary. We always make a reservation for next year on the way home. We were looking forward to this year, but a few weeks ago, we got an email from the person who usually takes care of our rooms, asking if we would like a room on the second or third floor...Special performance in the flute room, in-room dining, and a discounted price. We thought it was strange, so we asked the person in charge. When we asked, it turned out to be a booking. It seems that the head landlady passed away, and the accounting department did not run smoothly and there was a mistake. We gave up the special room this time because we go every year. The head chef also has a hard time playing the flute, so it's okay not to play in the room. We'll go and listen. On the day, the new landlady greeted us at the reception, but there was no apology for the booking. Nakai-san, who came to work, greeted her husband at the accounting department, but did not greet the customers on the floor. The hot food that we were looking forward to at dinner was not hot, and from the beginning, boiled ako was served as an appetizer. It was cold and the meat was hard to remove. It was half as delicious as before. I always look forward to the same thing every year because I come here every year and it's always a devised dinner, but... the menu was almost the same. They did serve me salted sea bream. The fried sardine also got cold by the time it reached the third floor, and although I should have been able to eat it down to the bone, it was too hard to eat. Only the special rooms offer in-room dining. I thought it was only within the distance that hot food could be delivered hot, but it seems that you can probably pay extra to have it in your room. That's no good. If it was going to taste like this, I would have been able to eat the chef's delicious food if I went down to eat at the restaurant❗I regret it❗ The breakfast was delicious, though. When I paid, they only said, "There seem to have been a lot of mistakes." "Thank you for kindly changing the room for me"❗They should have said it properly. Also, the points that they stamped every year were "expired in one year." "The second point is invalid because there is no date, but we'll give it to you this time for free"... That's not possible. It's the inn's job to put in the date. Even if a guest says that to us...❗We saved up little by little for a year for two people, and it was 60,000 to 70,000 yen per night for two people. We can't stay here many times a year. It's a once-a-year luxury. The landlady knew that and treated us well. I think that's the point. And to top it off, she didn't even see us off when we left. The landlady always came outside to see us off with the person in charge. She even took a photo for us. Fujimien's hospitality is gone. We left without making a reservation for next year. I don't think I'll ever go there again.
