High Ways House

We could not fault anything about our stay in this lovely guest house. The accessible room, was well laid out and excellent for a wheelchair. Every where was. Comfortable, modern and spotlessly clean. Great wet room. The breakfast was also good, freshly cooked, lovely fruit, and yoghurt. Jayne was a was. Welcoming friendly host , who was, very helpful, with a good knowledge of the area. We would highly recommend this guest house.

The hotel was lovely very homely and very comfortable the rooms were nice and the beds were comfy the food was very nice and Jayne was lovely the WiFi was really good and the little private bar in the lounge was very handy and the shower was very refreshing

We are doing the South West Coastal Path and having struggled to find any affordable, decent accommodation in Woolacombe found this absolute gem. Stay here. Although inland (and transport required,) it is absolutely worth the effort. The bus from and back to Woolacombe stops right outside. The hosts are welcoming (tea and cake with a smile on arrival) and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast available from 8. A relatively new provider- but share the good news!

This is one of the best Guest Houses we have ever discovered. We have just thoroughly enjoyed a four night stay in this beautiful and spotless house. The Host and Hostess Jayne and Terry are so welcoming and their rooms have been furnished and equipped to a beautifully high standard. The ground floor room is equipped for those who need easy access incorporating an immaculate wet room. The breakfasts are hearty and sumptuous using local produce and served, on time, in a spacious Dining Room with individual tables. The lounge also has a well stocked ‘Honesty Bar’. Jayne is fastidious in meeting her guests needs. I asked if she had any herbal teas (which she had), she asked what was my favourite and I mentioned Lemon and Ginger, next afternoon there was a box of them for me to enjoy. We just could not identify anything that could be improved. Thank you for a lovely few days break, we will be returning and recommending you to our friends.

What a find! Last-minute booking but will definitely be returning, couldn't fault High Ways House at all. The rooms are spotless, the owners were welcoming, the breakfast was delicious. Fantastic break. Thanks 😊
