Walking into the environment is a lifetime feeling one shouldn’t miss, you’d wonder where has this place been all your life! The warmth welcome and how the waiter presented the menu is top notch. Oh how I loved the arts on the wall, it gave me this traditional aura of being proud of my origin. I didn’t stay long tho, only came to see a friend, was already heavy to eat anything, I wished i could force myself to, lol, but I had cocktail and the taste was heaven!

Lovely hotel, 24/7 electricity, rooms are clean with comfortable beds, the manager Amarachi Kalu is a very pleasant lady, wifi is very erratic, so if you are planning to work, bring your own dongle to avoid the stress, be prepared for the Nigerian nuances such as one towel in bathroom for 2 guests!, (you will need to ask for extras daily),key cards deactivating each time either of us left the rooms!, breakfast is only for one guest- the other pays!, I was there with my husband for two weeks and we changed rooms 4 times due to issues that could have been avoided by proper checks. The staff are very pleasant and trustworthy, our belongings were always left where we put them, nothing went missing. The food was average, I think more variety is needed. Tea /coffee and kettle provided in rooms, iron/ironing board is not standard, you have to request for it, if you are lucky, you get straightaway other days are hit and miss. There are several eateries, shops and supermarkets close by.

We stayed in this clean hotel for 2 weeks during our summer vacation. Everything works in this hotel. The lift is reliable, hot and cold water with reasonable pressure. The restaurant is open 24 hours and the breakfast buffet has acceptable standards. Their rates are reasonable. The staffs are courteous and helpful. The porters are helpful during checking in but they could do with more porters to help with hand baggages on subsequent days

The 4 night stay in Ivy Emerald was a wonderful and breath taking experience. The environment is very clean and beautiful. The rooms are well decorated with fully functional facilities. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as they are always willing to assist. I went in to this hotel upon strong recommendation from a friend, I was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. I stayed in the Royal Suite which was everything I expected and more. The staff were very friendly, professional and courteous. The entire hotel is very clean, the rooms nicely appointed and the decor very fitting. The gym met my workout needs. The breakfast options are somewhat limited, but one could always find something to eat from the buffet. The restaurant serves very good food for lunch and dinner, my guests and I enjoyed all the food we ordered. The TV channels definitely need to be clearer and finally the hotel needs to do away with the cheap toilet papers in the toilets/bathrooms. These are the reasons for not getting 5 points. I will definitely return to the hotel anytime I am back in Lagos
