I was more interested in a nice hotel with a nice atmosphere in a good location every time I went sightseeing in Nara, so I stayed for the first time. Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. This inn seems to have opened in October 2022 after being renovated from another ryokan, so it feels more for foreigners than for Japanese people. The bath is a hot spring and the spring quality is good, but it cannot be said that it is large. There are 3 showers in the men's bath and 10 lockers with locks in the dressing room, but it was so cramped if two adults changed clothes at the same time. If you are an adult, it is better to have about 2 people at the same time, and if 3 to 4 people enter, it will be full. It's just a little bigger than a home bath. There was one coin laundry. You need to bring your own detergent, but there is a washing machine and dryer, which is recommended for long-term guests and those who want to keep luggage to a minimum. Necessary amenities are available at the front desk. There is no refrigerator and TV in the room, so it would be nice if it was easy, but it was a little inconvenient when drinking alcohol bought at a convenience store in the room. The toilet in the room has also been renovated, and it feels like a clean home toilet.

Welcomed right from the get go even though our room wasn't quite ready! The staff were incredibly kind. Honestly, finding an affordable accommodation in Nara at this good of a location does not come easy, and so if you're traveling on a budget this is an excellent option. Room was very clean, air conditioning worked very well on those hot summer days, we were in the budget room but it was still decently comfortable and spacious for two people. Definitely would recommend.
