The accommodation provides comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and stunning views. The spa facilities, beautiful scenery, and attentive staff ensure a relaxing stay. However, it may require transportation to nearby town.

We stayed 2 weeks at the hotel. The Staff were friendly & helpful. The room was spotless. We are not really AI people so I feel that I am maybe being a little harsh when we comment but here goes… Breakfast we were very impressed if you cannot find something you like to eat then you will be extremely picky and the staff very quickly knew what drinks we liked and brought them to us some days without even checking and what a view to sit and enjoy at the same time. We found for some reason and some fellow travellers said the same that Lunch seemed far better selection than Dinner. After a couple of days we concentrated on having our main meal lunchtime rather than Dinner. Dinner only between 7-9pm We found by going in at around 8-8:30 some of the more popular dishes were empty and were slow to be refreshed. Drinks by the glass both in restaurant & bar. The bar staff were super efficient and worked hard to keep people’s glass full. Pool towels were our only real gripe why oh why are they only available from the spa between 9-11am we found that really annoying and ended up only changing them once. It’s a walk in heat to the top close to reception that shouldn’t be necessary. Please management if you read this have a think about putting them near the pool areas. The beach is a challenge deep stone beach that suck your feet and legs in. (Beach Shoes a must) And just one last point Jet2 thankfully we didn’t pay for Private Transfer we given them anyway. The Taxi driver told us 90% of the transfers are Taxi to that part of the island so just a thought if you want save on spending for Private when you probably will get them any way.

Overall a good stay , the people working there were nothing but helpful and welcoming , made our stay feel like a genuine cretan experience. Nonetheless there was a lady that kept watching over the servers in the buffet , most likely the manager , made us feel really creeped out and weird while the people were doing their job .

Just returned from 2 weeks of pure relaxation. Food was superb as were the drinks from the bar. The staff were friendly and attentive. Did not have to wait for our plates to be cleared or our glasses to be filled. As I have mentioned the food was delicious and well presented with good variety at each sitting. A special mention should go out to the pastry chef as desserts were always a particular high point. The Adults Beach has comfy sun loungers and plenty of umbrellas. The tiny pebbles albeit not technically uncomfortable to walk on do get extremely hot so it was for that reason only to bring beach shoes. The sea is crystal clear with plenty of sea life therefore a snorkel and face mask are also a must. Our room (172) was very comfortable. Great size, plenty of storage, a large comfortable bed and the most expansive balcony we have ever had. The views from this balcony are amazing as it is unique in the fact that you can angle your chairs or sun loungers (you have both) to look at the sea or the mountains. Book this hotel and enjoy a very special holiday

My husband and I have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Kakkos Beach Hotel (Adult Only, All Inclusive Plus). Our double room with sea view overlooked the infinity pool and beach which was beautiful. The hotel and rooms were immaculately clean and the dining and bar staff were both welcoming and efficient. The food was very good with lots of choice and the food was always hot. Overview: we had a really relaxing and pleasant stay. However, there are a few things which could be improved to bring this up to a 5* rating especially given the All Inclusive Plus package, Adult Only experience and the branding of "premium and luxury": ^The mini fridge was restocked daily with one bottle of water (no beers, fruit juice, soda's etc) ^No premium drink brands were included in the bar menu (lots of cocktails were also at additional cost) ^Not luxury toiletries - small bottles of basic items were provided and replaced regularly ^No pool service for drinks ^Sunbed towel change was available at the Spa only (for people in the lower bungalows, this meant a daily hill climb in the heat and not ideal for guests with walking difficulties) ^Courtesy room was one shower, no air conditioning and no hairdryer ^If departing on a later night flight, there was nowhere to eat between the dining room closing for lunch and re-opening for dinner ^Nalu restaurant onsite is at additional cost and not included in the All Inclusive package ^Overall pricey for what is offered

Can’t rate the hotel high enough. Stunning location, staff are professional and polite. We had a room with two floors which was spacious with the most incredible sea views. If you are looking to book, don’t hesitate. The food is excellent, the pool bar was perfect with the most amazing staff. The main bar was beautiful and again the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the restaurant, the staff looked after us very well and there was a very good choice of food.

Overall impression: My wife and I (as well as my brother and my wife's sister and their spouses) spent 8 days in May/June 2024 at the Kakkos Beach Hotel (Adults Only 16+) in Crete with the "AI Premium" option, and we strongly recommend a stay at this hotel to adults who intend to relax in very good conditions, in peace and quiet atmosphere and with guaranteed great weather and the possibility to enjoy swimming in the clear sea (however not yet very warm during our stay). Location: The hotel is located on the south-eastern side of the island, in the small village of Koutsounari, close (about 10 km) to the town of Ierapetra. The only downside of the hotel's location is the distance from Heraklion airport, which is 110 km, so it takes about 2 hours to get to and from the hotel. However, this circumstance was known to us prior to our departure and therefore came as no surprise. It should be added that we travelled comfortably in modern buses with efficient air conditioning. The Kakkos Beach hotel is connected with the "brother" Kakkos Bay hotel, where the "adults only" formula does not apply, while the residents of the Kakkos Beach hotel can use all the facilities of the Kakkos Bay hotel without restrictions (it does not work the other way round). The hotel, and indeed the entire complex, is situated on a beautiful bay with fine pebble beach (wich has been honoured with the 'Blue Flag' for it's clean water). The hotel is surranded by exceptionally well-kept,beautiful gardens with lots of different trees and plants. The garden cascades down to the beaches and there are quite a few steps and approaches, which may pose some difficulties for vacationers with mobility problems. Approximately 150 metres from the hotel there is a bus stop from which buses to Ierapetra and Sitia depart. Roughly 100-200 m from the hotel entrance there are two "multi-branch" shops (groceries, alcohol, cosmetics, clothing, household chemicals, souvenirs, etc.). One of these shops is staffed by two Poles. Also at the hotel there is a minimarket where basic goods can be purchased. Hotel: Completed in 2017, the five-star hotel (in our opinion absolutely deserving of this category), is an intimate facility with only 65 rooms, with nice and unpretentious architecture, low-rise buildings (2-storey), reception and lobby common to the whole complex, but at a quite a distance from the Kakkos Beach buildings. However, this did not pose a problem as both luggage and vacationers were transported to and from their rooms by electric trolleys. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite, always smiling, knowledgeable and helpful in all matters, from advice on food and drink choices, to information on any topics, and assistance with technical matters. This appraisal applies to the management, restaurant and bar staff, as well as to the cleaners, reception staff and maintenance staff. Room: We stayed in a double room (approx. 30 m2) with a sea view (room no. 157). The 'sea view' offered to

I dont usualy do "all inclusive" resort type vacation, but this was certainly outstanding. The food was excellent, diverse and dining on a beatiful patio right on the coast was always deeply relaxing and enjoyable. The beach was lovely, the sea amazing. The hotel's "no children" policy allowed for a truely peacefull and quiet relaxation, and even evening drinks at the bar were very decent. The staff is extremely helpfull, always making sure you enjoy yourself to the fullest. The only real drawback is the location: without a rental car you are quite far from mostly anything in terms of excursions and sightseeing and any trip by foot takes you onto a winding, mountain roads with quite a bit of traffic and no sidewalks. So yeah, if you do plan on doing any real sightseeing you need to rent a car, otherwise just enjoy yourself at the amazing pools, glorious beaches, wonderfull restaurants and quiet, comfortable rooms. Oh, and bring coffee.
