Misty Mountain Experience by Perfect Stays

Teyla Restaurant is a part of Misty Mountain Resort Kuttikanam, Kerala. It’s well located ***** the Kottayam-Kumily highway and has plenty of parking area with EV charging facilities. Restaurant ambience is great. I was told that south Indian meals were served in a different building in the same compound. I had been to this restaurant few times before also. This time I had soup and some momos which were good. I try their pastries every time but, each time they say that many of the items in the menu are not served. They also offer a variety of teas, which I have always enjoyed. They have a counter selling tea and spices. Apart from the Indian food, the restaurant also serves steak, burgers and sandwiches. The food served is good and the prices are reasonable. Though there were very few guests in the restaurant, I noticed that the staff were not very attentive and were not well versed with the items served. Undoubtedly, this is the finest restaurant in Kuttikanam.

We had an absolutely delightful culinary experience at both Teyla and Elam. The tenderloin beef steak from Teyla was nothing short of fabulous — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. We sampled a variety of their continental dishes, and each one was a masterpiece in taste and presentation. At Elam, the chicken biriyani and chatti choru were exceptional, rich in authentic flavors and beautifully prepared. The desserts were the perfect ending — indulgent, flavorful, and simply melted in the mouth. We even enjoyed the jeep safari and the mighty falls inside this property is amazing.. A heartfelt thank you for the warm and thoughtful hospitality. Special appreciation to Vibin, Jibin, Muthamil, and many others who made our visit truly memorable. We also couldn’t resist picking up several Teyla products to take a bit of this amazing experience home with us. We will definitely be recommending Teyla and Elam to everyone and can’t wait to return again soon!

Most wonderful setting.. Courteous staff. Clean and comfortable room. The birds sing to wake you up , The sounds and sites of the resort is simply amazing. The weather was just perfect in October. The jeep ride within the estate was quite an experience.

Mystic Mounts plantation resort experience was one of the best experiences we have enjoyed recently in Kuttikkanam. Kayaking, mountain trails safari, biking and teyla making experience was really enjoyable and interesting!! A must visit experience for Incredible India!!

Far from the madding crowd, still well connected. 2000 acres of plantation it seems, with four different trails for walk, a tea factory visit and a great private waterfall. Great ambience, nice and sound sleep. Courteous behaviour. Clean toilets and beds Luxury stay. Total expense comes around 10k per night for two

Excellent stay and friendly staff. Food was great. Had activities like kayaking, small trekk, cycling etc ***** with the package. They will provide a tea factory visit and will explain the tea powder making process. Better to call the resort and book rather than using online sites for booking. Overall a great experience.
