The climate was really good with fog and rain when we arrived.
Pros
Good breakfast
Amazing Jaccuzi experience (though water was leaking on the bathroom floor from the jacuzzi was not that satisfying)
Great waterfall view and walking area
Cons
Property is really far from munnar town and really hard to get to during night as the roads are narrow.
Pools are not very well maintained or cleaned.
Food service took two hours to get to your room.
Staff not very well trained.
Smoke smell was all over in the washroom while we arrived.
Overpriced food with not good quality.
No hairdryer/ oven
No safe locker
Our room was opened when we came back after we requested for cleaning.

The hotel is located in the middle of the forest approximately 30 minutes from Munnar. It is an incredible location and we was blown away by the feel in the middel of the nature. Surrounded by the forest, waterfall and the sound from these. The room was very big and with two bathrooms and with a living room. The cleaning of the room, restaurant and overall maintenance of the place could be improved. The selection of morning, and dinner buffet was huge but we was not satisfied with the food quality, but the French fries was good. The staff was very polite, friendly and service minded! If it was located closer to other restaurants, would we have used these. We do belive that the buffet is more suited for the Indian turists and not foreigners. (Denmark, scandinavian) We would visit the hotal again, as we could feed that they really tried there best and we belive, they will improved over time.

It’s a very beautiful place to stay. Suite rooms have forest view for us. Are the best! Services are excellent. Food is tasty. Infinity swimming pool is awesome!

I had a wonderful stay at Elixir Hills. The ambience was truly relaxing and beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful holiday. The staff were extremely courteous, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Room service was prompt and efficient, making the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was a delightful experience and I would definitely recommend Elixir Hills to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Don’t get fooled by reviews and photos… this is a property that is poorly maintained… imagine a star resort with out even the door functioning properly…we opted for a jaccuzi room and even the jaccuzi was damaged beyond repair…the staffs there had to struggle a lot to cover the issues of the management who never bother to maintain the resort…

I’m so happy and more surprised of their treat. Good service and very good management. They arranged a candle light dinner and that was very special for us. I’m totally happy and satisfied. Front dusk vijaylakshmi and service assistant mipin also very nice and good service.
