Heard a lot about this 5***** hotel, so I booked it for the covinient from the bus from hk airport. Not very impressed and certainly doesn't meet the standard of a 5***** it once was. The room is stuffy and a bit of damp smell, although it's a non- smoker room, I paid 66£ for a night, and I requested to place me in a quiet area, so they upgraded me from the 5th floor which was above the Karaoke, to the 15th floor. Nice view of the west lake. The room is big enough but decoration is old, needs future renovation as I wouldn't stay there next time and there are better hotels out there in the area. However, the staff are very attentive and super friendly, after checking out, a young male asked how was my stay, and i said it was OK, it smells musky in the room, he apologised and gave me a goody bag with sweets and a cute stuff toy.

Apart from a small problem with room service we were very happy with our stay. The room had spectacular views over the river and West Lake. It was near a major shopping centre and food street. We felt pampered and relaxed and enjoyed just sitting in the room enjoying the view. Highly recommended.

Decent independent motel. Nice staff. I was hoping to get a room in the newer wing where I could park directly outside my door. I was put in the older central block which accesses room from internal corridor. Room is very basic but does the job - clean and comfortable. Only tea coffee and juice available when I was there. When booking, contact them directly at the 208 number and not the 800 number on their website which seems to be a booking service and is more expensive.

One of the prettiest areas you'll find. The hotel staff were exceptional. Great service. The property was up to date, clean, and well lit. The breakfast was great each morning. Plan to be back on my next trip to Idaho Falls.

Three of them were selected by Marriott's hotels and they were very satisfied. After deciding to travel, the whole family will choose Marriott. Marriott's five-star hotel has no obvious advantages compared with other international big names, but these three-four-star budget hotels have obvious advantages. The room is large in size and sanitary conditions are good! There is a kitchen in the room, which can be boiled, etc. It is very practical for Chinese people. My family has a higher level of cleanliness. A family of four, an adult with a baby sleeping on a bed, still very comfortable! The location is also very easy to find, just follow the GOOGLE navigation.

Never die! The hotel is great. It's on the edge of the West Lake, in the pedestrian street. It's not noisy at night. The bed is comfortable and the price is cheap. Many places can be reached on foot. The only downside is that there is no parking space. Because it is midnight, the staff at the bar will randomly order you to line up to enter. I only found out after contacting the front desk. Later, I was lucky enough to find a free parking meter on the street!

The Candlewood Suites were a nice pit stop on our way back from Yellowstone NP. Amenities that others have noted inside the rooms and building are all well-maintained and COVID-clean. Our room had a view of the river (see photo) but it's not that special of a view given that you're staring at an industrial area and the evening we were there a bit of police activity was going on across the river. But with the smoky haze from the forest fires further west coloring the sky it was a very colorful sunset. Check-in/check-out went very smoothly. Parking is ample. The property itself is about a couple miles from the falls area and the freeway. Only one real issue and, hopefully, this gets someone's attention. During our stay we were walking near the lobby area and it appeared that a staff meeting was going on at that time. The individual running the meeting was being somewhat inappropriate with the staff, berating and being quite critical about a number of issues. Such conduct should NEVER be conducted in full public view (IMHO as a manager of 30+ years) and I'm surprised the staff puts up with it or ownership condones it. This was a real mood killer for my wife and I. Staff meetings should be conducted in a meeting room out of earshot of guests, period. Except for the above, this is a really nice property.

Since we were traveling in the winter and on a weekday, suites were very reasonably priced. So we got a one bedroom king suite with a fireplace. It was absolutely beautiful and quite comfortable. The “continental” breakfast offered premade hot cheese omelettes, sausage patties and biscuits/gravy in addition to the normal cereals, hard-boiled eggs, yogurts, pancakes, etc. Quite satisfying.

Toni and the General Manager, Tiffine, worked together for almost an hour with the third party booking to get our reservation confirmed. They were both extremely helpful, and we genuinely appreciate their dedication and customer service. We will definitely be staying at Comfort Inn, Idaho Falls, ID again!

The Candlewood Suites were a nice pit stop on our way back from Yellowstone NP. Amenities that others have noted inside the rooms and building are all well-maintained and COVID-clean. Our room had a view of the river (see photo) but it's not that special of a view given that you're staring at an industrial area and the evening we were there a bit of police activity was going on across the river. But with the smoky haze from the forest fires further west coloring the sky it was a very colorful sunset. Check-in/check-out went very smoothly. Parking is ample. The property itself is about a couple miles from the falls area and the freeway. Only one real issue and, hopefully, this gets someone's attention. During our stay we were walking near the lobby area and it appeared that a staff meeting was going on at that time. The individual running the meeting was being somewhat inappropriate with the staff, berating and being quite critical about a number of issues. Such conduct should NEVER be conducted in full public view (IMHO as a manager of 30+ years) and I'm surprised the staff puts up with it or ownership condones it. This was a real mood killer for my wife and I. Staff meetings should be conducted in a meeting room out of earshot of guests, period. Except for the above, this is a really nice property.

Good economic hotel, has a great restaurant attached to it and the staff is very friendly. I would have liked the hot tub to be working but at least it had the pool and the gym . If I was to ask anything, I would ask that they make sure that every room has a do not disturb signs.
