Verde Hotel

This Turkey trip was our first. (my partner and myself aged 30 to 40) The Verde Hotel is lovely. Good friendly staff. Clean and comfy room. With air con and a fridge. The pool area is nice and chilled with a good amount of sun beds on either side. Good seating areas in the shade. Out door pool table and darts. A nice range of drinks and a handful of cocktails. The food is nice as well. Lovely and fresh every meal time. You have so much on your door step at this hotel.. Hairdressers. Barbershop. Tattoo shop. Spa at the hotel is lovely, good range of treatments and good price. We had the Home Time Programme..... We didn't want it to end. If you need any local information or advice see Jay Jay... His the hotels go to. You'll leave with a new friend after speaking to him. His such a kind and welcoming man. If you fancy a turkish shave then go to see Jacob..... His also really good at tattoos. A few guests got some ink on their last day.... His work is really good..... ( side note ive got lots of tattoos 😊) The only down sides of this trip is.... °The transfer from Dalaman Airport.... Its like 2 hours and can become boring in the dark. °The hotel could do with more of a food selection. ( mainly chicken dishes.... But that didn't bother us) °The hotel is very close to 3 bars. Which can be noisy on a night. The closest bar turns is music off at 12.30am. So if you like a early night maybe ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Or the hotel could get the front rooms sound proofed. This once again did not bother us. But i know it might bother some. °The hotel could do with a smoking area. As alot of people staying there the same time as us smoked and it can be not very nice for non smokers or like my self i have a lung disease and the smoke can effect my breathing. These points are why i haven't given a 5* rating. But over all we would come back to The Verde in Iclemer. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. Safe and relaxed. We have just returned from a fantastic 10day holiday where we stayed at the Verde Hotel, to be honest we were not looking forward to it after reading the reviews, please don’t listen we had a fantastic holiday don’t get me wrong food it not ideal however it’s fresh edible so you’d never starve, what can you expect it’s not a 5* hotel but staff are 100 friendly and will help you with anything - it’s a perfect location to bars/restaurants and the beaches, Anna the manager goes the extra mile always such a lovely young lady we are that impressed we are trying to arrange a return for my 50th birthday celebrations in Oct 25 - please make up your own mind when booking as other ppls reviews almost cost us a FANTASTIC holiday

Had a fab 10 days. Hotel staff were excellent especially Anna who asks guests Dailly if everything was OK. Would definitely return to same hotel.

What a lovely hotel near to all amenities shops, mini markets, scooter hire, beach, hotel staff were all polite, smart, hard working,room cleaned and replenished every day,pool area clean and above all safe.food was good, a mixture or hot and cold meals,plenty of fresh salad and bread.always available and well stocked up.reception staff very helpful and informative always someone there 24 hours a day. Anna the relations manager kept a well run efficient clean hotel, drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic always available, red lion pub was in the same premises serving good food.stayed on top floor 5 what a lovely view. For a lovely peaceful relaxing holiday I would really recommend the verde hotel. Well done Anna and her staff.

Fabulous Hotel. Location is great. I thoroughly enjoyed my two week stay. Staff are so friendly. Anna is amazing so kind and friendly it was a pleasure to meet her. Rooms are a reasonable size, cleaned everyday and towels changed daily. And yes the hotel is surrounded by bars, so you do hear the music etc, but the bars shut at midnight as the new law states now. So if you dont want to hear the music, take some earplugs. I was dancing on my balcony on a few occasions and the entertainment value is good people watching. No evening entertainment though, which I think is needed. It didnt bother me as I went out everynight. But I did go down to the bar one evening before going out and there was no atmosphere whatsoever, so i soon left. Food is nice and I enjoyed the meals. But more variety is needed I think. So all in all a nice hotel. I will definitely return

A good value for money hotel over all. Two minor grips from me and my wife 1, the food was not replenished regularly and it looked as they were not bothered. The food was good otherwise a Turkish style of food. 2, when we checked in we were not give a information sheet so our room was not cleaned for two days as we had caught the switch that informed the house keeper you wanted the room cleaned. Maybe laminate the information sheets and put them in a file in the rooms. But we’ll be back next year looking forward to seeing you.
