Arbatt Marmaris Hotel

We are here at the moment, I cannot wait to leave. Positive point hotel clean, friendly bar guy at the pool who really does his best to please customers, free air conditioning. Thats it for the good im afraid. none of the other staff have spoken to us. reception staff have poor English speaking. In my personal opinion this hotel management, take your money, but do not go out of their way, to make your holiday, an enjoyable experience. There is no entertainment. The food is diabolical, that's putting it mildly. Usually with all inclusive, there is always something you can eat, definitely not in this case, the only warm food is the soup, everything else cold and recycled. It is not all inclusive all day, there are set times for meals, and drinks are only all inclusive until 11.30pm, not that they are worth having anyway, so called cocktails are like drinking syrup. Desserts consist of two types of melon, apples oranges, grapefruit and pretty much the same 4 small cakes every day. Cold chips for breakfast, with snotty eggs, if they bother to cook them, boiled eggs are black when you cut them up, salad, olives and I have no idea what the other things are, it looks like fried lentils and beans not sure, nothing is labelled. The food bar does have cereals, uncovered, and put out every day chocolate spread, cold pancakes, and runny sweet jam, and cheap chocolate spread. No toast, and hot drinks machine is never set up properly, so when you have a hot chocolate, powder is on top floating. Pools are very small, because where they are situated you only get sun, up to between 1 and 2, that's it. Snack bar food way to greasy and oily, cheese on toasties is what I call plastic cheese, rubbery. This hotel is close to a very loud bar, and the noise at night is horrendous, no chance of sleeping, until they close early hours of the morning. Please do not waste your money on this hotel, its shocking that on the beach have gave them such a high rating, I would struggle to give them a 2*

We're do I start the food is not good at any time staff were not helpful no smiles except for one lad on downstairs bar always polite and smiling ,the drinks were very poor in choice an taste ,rooms were ok beds to hard avoid room 201 as it's a very noisey room as shake bar plays music till late over all for our 2 couples very poor rate this 2 star

Great location, nice room with good views. Unfortunately, only positives I feel comfortable in mentioning. The rest. Poor food quality and selection Poor drinks quality and selection Room not cleaned to well, floor remains in same state as when I arrived 3 days ago. Staff, vary greatly from friendly to quite dismissive.

Avoid - booked via @onthebeach who has this as a 4* - it’s scraping a 2* and I’m applauded and disappointed it’s on their website. Cons - the “shake bar opposite” music from 9pm - 2am every night, it’s impossible to sleep, impossible! No matter what side of the hotel your on, the music blares through your room from their speakers and sub woofers. The hotel is in need of serious TLC - lifts, paint, pools, bars drinks and food. There is no entertainment at the hotel. The hotel has approximately 15-20 sunbeds max. 3 pools are listed, the main pool is allocated 5-8meters long and 160cm deep, approx 4m wide. Fills up with 6 people swimming. Kids pool is a paddling pool. This is not a family hotel, avoid bringing your kids The hotel is not on the beach, don’t be fooled by The pictures. The hotel does have an allocated area for its customers on the beach, however… it only has 10-13 sunbeds which are filled by 6am with towels - after that you have to pay to use another section Food - pudding is the same - selection of cakes, dinners are ever so slightly mixed up, but no labels to describe foods, thankfully chefs spoke English Breakfast the same, slightly mixed up as is lunch Snack bar - burgers pasta 12-4 each day - ice cream 5-5:30 Drinks - poor selection for all inclusive Beach towels, £10 deposit for your stay Hotel felt more aimed at Russian guests than European or English The area is very mountainous, and for that reason, the pool only had sun as did the hotel from 6am-1pm - after that you had to go to beach and if you read above, no sun loungers Pro - the chefs spoke English Bathroom - although in need of TLC - shower was large - overhead shower and hand held Part of me feels sorry for some of the staff who did try, either the hotel needs to move away from Shake Bar, have investment and start over or Shake bar needs to close to help the hotel and it’s custom. The majority of guests here, all regretted their stay at this hotel, some staying they are going back to their travel agents - we looked into moving hotels but needed another £400 for 6nights, 4 nights in, I’m regretting not moving - yes, writing this review whilst here. There’s plenty of shops around the hotel, local bus at approx £1.50 will take you to maramis. Plenty of excursions, aim for £10-15 per excursion, asking prices £25-30 - boat tours, massages, jeep safari’s, mud baths all available. No matter how cheap this hotel might look as a deal, believe me, your sleep is worth more, save an extra months wages and go somewhere better 2/5 or or if I was being generous 3/10
