The room is quite old and has not been renovated for many years. However, this hotel is a state guesthouse of Japan, and is visited by many locals. The Yanbi Gorge scenic spot is a bit disappointing, and is not as fun as the nearby Geibikei Gorge.

Although the transportation is not very convenient, the hotel has a free shuttle bus to easily reach the hotel. The triple room I stayed in was quite spacious, clean and tidy, and the bathroom and toilet were independent, which was also very good. The staff were very friendly. Besides the usual drinks, the hotel's own hot tea was also available at the hotel's bar (which was unique and delicious). Breakfast was included, and it was very generous. The bathroom in the room was quite ordinary (as shown in the hotel photos), but since everyone uses the large onsen baths, it didn't make a big difference to me.
