Good environment, complete facilities, good location, I like this feeling very much

I stayed here with my 16 year old son. We were looking for something very authentic Japanese. Kakurinbo was perfect. We stayed two days after arriving in Japan and it was a great peaceful quiet way to recover from jet lag. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very clean and spacious. We had the garden view and enjoyed green tea each morning while watching the giant koi fish in the pond. The food was Delicious and artful in presentation. Even my 16 year old son who lives in frozen pizza and ice cream was happy with the food. The wine bath was a special treat and relaxing to soak each evening with a window to view the garden. Even the map they gave us on arrival was awesome not was very detailed and had so Lucy information that was useful as well as interesting. I was sad that the first day I lost mine but the gave me another. We went each morning to the temple service and I recommend to go. During the service a monk shows the incense bowls and invites people up to burn incense. The “map” explains how to do it and watch someone go up then don’t be shy and do it. Also don’t forget to do the water purifying outside. Again, the “map” explains. We also took the ropeway to the top and we’re blessed with a view of Mt.Fuji. Thank you for a memorable time my son and I will always cherish.

The hotel is pretty nice with a very nice hot spring and a nice comfy bed. Cons are that the interior is slightly worn and the toilet has some slight smell, probably due to the age of the hotel. The common hot spring interior area also has a fairly strong smell which I didn’t experience in other Dormy inns.

It was very clean and the facilities were well-maintained. I would definitely like to use it again. It was also conveniently located near the station.

I have never stayed in Kofu until now, and this time I stayed at which hotel I will stay. I made a reservation at the ”old name shop hotel” which felt very clean and nice on the web site. Because it was a car transfer on the day, was the parking lot adjacent? When I arrived, I thought it was too beautiful and there was a hard part because it was just next to the intersection. (just stopped at the red signal at the intersection, so I found out) Just a meeting when I entered the hotel? Because it was like that, many hotel staff were waiting in the lobby, and many greetings were received. The check-in and check-out response was kind and polite. The room is very clean because it is large enough to stay alone and is renewed. Breakfast is in the middle of the breakfast venue 2F, and it is up to the lobby floor once, and I think I should go by the stairs, but I climbed the stairs, and I climbed the different stairs, and there was a difficult part. Breakfast is a style to choose western or Japanese food. I can bring one item and one item, but I was able to eat all delicious. When you check out, you can wait until you get out of the car and there was a volleyball service, and while you wait, there was a consideration for the staff woman and a little explanation about this hotel. I think there is no inconvenience because I can understand it if I stay once. In Kofu, there are many inns and small business hotels, but it was a hotel that I wanted to stay when I stayed in Kofu.

It's old, but it's a so-called ordinary business hotel. I was able to stay cheaply using Go To and received a coupon. I'm a smoker, so I was happy that there are rooms where each plan can smoke. I made a reservation for a single room, but it seems that I was able to make it a large bed room (although there was no explanation). I booked a ladies plan but I couldn't get the amenities listed on the site. Also, I was told that I needed to present a Go To coupon, so I printed it and brought it with me, but I was not asked to present it, and the discount was applied and the coupon was given. Breakfast was canceled due to 4 types of small bread and the influence of corona. There was a drink bar for vegetable juice, orange juice and soup, and it was enough because it was free, but I wanted to warm the bread.

First time use. It was a restaurant meal in a Japanese room for a recreational contract facility. It was hot when I was worried about snow and made a train. There is a transfer from the station. The lobby is large and the ceiling is high and feels good. The CORONA countermeasure was alcohol sterilization in each elevator hall, bath, etc., and it was easy to carry from the time of the car to the luggage reception room. The room is a two-way Japanese room, mineral water and tea bag tea. I feel old but well maintained There are two washbasins, and two can be used at the same time. The bath is said to have seen the man hot water from the open-air bath. Wide to the bath 々. I feel that the amount of water flowing is also comfortable and the shoulder is terrible. The dressing room is also large and the interval of the dressing basket is taken. The special thing is that the hot water at the foot of the bathroom entrance flows. I thought I wanted to flow every time I went out of the public bath. I felt the same with my friend. I was happy. Dinner is standard Japanese food, but it is quite a volume. There is no showy ingredients, but seasonal ingredients, politely made and local ingredients were also delicious. I also enjoyed six wines from Yamanashi. I explained it carefully to Mr. Sommelier. I would like to enjoy domestic wine. It was a good opportunity to find something you like When you walk in the lobby or something, the staff greeting is always pleasant, and this is the time, but it was good to come. Our room has Mount Fuji view, which is really nice :) - the two pictures below were taken in the room. We also enjoyed our dinner and breakfast at the hotel! The shabu-shabu dinner allowed us to order unlimited beef, pork and veggies within 90 mins, and the hotel offers buffet breakfast with great variety of food and drink choices. The hotel is close to both the bus stop 4 and the bus stop 6 of red/purple/green lines, so depending on where one plan to go, one can get on/off at either bus stop, with a few minute walk from the hotel. (For example, it took us about 15 mins to walk from hotel to the cable car station.) The staff there are really friendly, with excellent services - a big thank to them! There are two onsen areas at the hotel - one in the main building and another in the annex building. We went to the main building one, but it was a bit small and quite crowded, so the hygiene there was suboptimal. This is the only minor thing that we wish that the hotel could do better. All in all, our stay was wonderful :)

We enjoyed the gorgeous fuji view from the room which was exactly the same as the photo we saw online. The hotel provided free warm packs and snacks in the lobby which was caring. There were also welcoming snacks in the room. However, as far as we know, the hotel provides free shuttle service to/from Kawaguchiko station but it was disappointing that there were no way to book online. I tried to contact the hotel directly via email but received no response from them. Eventually, we took a bus from Kawaguchiko station and walked up the hill with our luggages, which was very inconvenient. Besides, the dinner style/menu was only available at dinner time so we couldn’t take it into consideration when we decided the date of our stay. Other than the above, the overall experience was nice with high CP value.

Location is good, able to see mt fuji if sky is clear. Quiet and away from major traffic. Free private parking, Onsen at level 7. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything is provided so you can just stay and chill. I opt for buffet breakfast and Dinner, selection is good. Recommended!
