Hampton By Hilton Iasi

Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting friends and relatives. The hotel generally lacks atmosphere and is not welcoming in the bar and reception area. Reasonable breakfast and staff were reactive to problems raised. However the general state of the rooms is very poor. Our first room on 12th floor had a rubber window seal hanging out and with freezing blizzard conditions it meant we had zero sleep due to wind noise and draught coming through the gap. We were moved next morning after complaining at front desk, to floor 4. That room was better for noise but the toilet roll holder fell of the wall as soon we used it. When we went to bed in the evening we noticed the sheets and pillow cases were ripped and threadbare, too late to do anything about it but showed pictures at reception when checking out. We were offered an apology but nothing else. Overall a pretty awful experience for a 2 night stay. I have stayed in many Hilton hotels (all types) and the standards here are not what you would expect from Hilton chain. I have stayed here in the past (last time 3 years ago) and I would say it has really gone downhill. There are much better hotels in Iasi based on my recent and previous visits, better off trying Unirea (same standard) or International (4 star). I expect this hotel will not be under the Hilton name for long unless they improve the standards.
Hotel International Iasi

The location is fantastic, right next to Palas. The staff in reception were very friendly and we were able to leave our luggage there for a few hours before our flight. The room was great: very comfy BIG bed and great facilities (mini-fridge, TV, good room heating, lots of towels, slippers, bathrobes and toiletries). The only thing that could be improved would be the cleanliness in the shower cabin - the sealant in the shower cabin desperately needed replacing and the shower head and cable need to be cleaned properly (there were noticeable deposits). The water pressure was also pretty low but I think that was because of the cold weather so couldn't really be helped). Other areas of the bathroom and room were spotless. The breakfast was delicious and there was an option to have breakfast in the room, which we took advantage on on our furst day. The restaurant staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had a GREAT stay during a stressful trip and we would definitely stay there again.
Unirea Hotel & Spa

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. The price was amazing. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Hotel Unirea is in the city's commercial, cultural, religious, historical, political, geographic heart.  Would definitely stay there again. The staff at the Hotel Unirea in downtown of Iași were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful, and always available. The bed was super comfy. I will always stay at this location when traveling to or through Iași.

The view makes all the money! If you are visiting the city and want to enjoy the whole city center and be able to admire it from the balcony, then this is the place where you should sleep. The parking lot is very narrow, congested and you have to struggle a little to be able to fit into that tight space. The cost is 10 lei/hour if you are not staying in the hotel, otherwise it is free. The rooms are small, smell bad, the bathroom was not clean enough - the shower tub gets clogged. The furniture is old, the slippers uncomfortable. The breakfast was good, but the staff is not careful to make sure there is enough for everyone - I had to stop someone every time to ask for what I needed. The swimming pool in the hotel is not dedicated to the hotel's clients - it is the same as the one used by the clients of the gym, it is crowded and you cannot relax. The cost of the room is too high - approx. 300 lei / night with breakfast included.
Hotel Arnia

I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the bus station, wanting to travel to Chișinău for a weekend. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Iasi. I was very pleased with the services, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the value for the money. The staff were both kind and professional, contributing to a very enjoyable stay.
Hotel Belleville

I traveled to Iași at the end of August and stayed at Hotel BelleVille for 4 nights. Negative aspects: The hotel has a small parking area at the back, with spaces for only 3 cars, which can make finding a parking spot challenging. My family and I occupied rooms 304 and 305 in the attic. Room 304 has a significant drawback, as the drainage from the adjacent room's toilet and sink (the central one) is exactly in line with your head when lying in bed. This ensures frequent disturbances during the night when neighbors use the toilet. Furthermore, the walls are very thin, making it easy to hear any conversation or noise from the adjacent rooms. Additionally, the bed in my room was firm and concave, making it difficult to rest. I explained the issues with the room to the administration, and even though they had available rooms, they refused to change it, citing that they didn't want to make modifications in the booking system. Breakfast was a disappointing experience. Positive aspects: The hotel provides complimentary access to amenities such as coffee/tea and massage chairs.
