Generally, we very much enjoyed our stay. On the plus side, the room was enormous, very comfortable bed, lots of strong coffee pods with the Nespresso machine, free soft drinks in the mini bar. The food was excellent, but the portions were enormous, which meant by the time we’d eaten a starter, we didn’t really have room for our main courses. After the free nibbles with our aperos, we should have shared a starter and a main course. There is a small spa but it was very pleasant. But everything had to be switched on which meant neither the sauna nor the steam room reached a desired temperature. Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was in the grounds and not the main building. While we were there, we had extremely heavy rain, and the paths could not cope with the drainage. As we walked to reception and our car, the path would sometimes sink into pools of rainwater. But the biggest negative has to be the €18 charge for parking, where there is absolutely nowhere else to park. Yes, I have read there is an overnight guard, and great for local employment - but at €18. Really.

This was our second visit, and while our first experience was very positive, this time around, we encountered several issues that significantly detracted from our stay. Firstly, the booking process took an unusually long time—around 25 minutes. Although the staff member I spoke with was polite, she asked numerous questions and, despite my specific request not to be near the lift, we were given a room that was, in fact, the second closest to the lift. When I raised this concern upon arrival, the manager on duty pointed out that another room was technically closer, which felt dismissive rather than helpful. We were offered an upgrade for an additional £200, on top of the £500 we were already paying for the room, which we declined. Unfortunately, the noise from the lift was disruptive, though I appreciate the reception staff’s promptness in calling an engineer, and while it was eventually resolved, the overall experience was far from restful. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that nine bulbs were out in the chandelier in our room, which, along with the less-than-perfect cleanliness, did not align with the 5-star standard we were expecting. On top of this, we were charged £20-£30 for borrowing bikes for an hour and another £20 for parking, which made us feel that the hotel was more interested in maximizing revenue than providing a welcoming experience. To add to our frustration, I wrote to the hotel regarding these issues but have yet to receive any response. It’s disheartening to feel that our concerns are being ignored. We truly love the location and the potential of the hotel, but this experience has left us questioning whether we would return.

Impressed our entire family - my wife (who is from the south of France), me (from Hawaii) and our young kids (most importantly). Convenient place to stopover when visiting nearby Porquerolles. Peaceful, natural and authentic environment (looks like a local village). Delicious food in the restaurant. Diamond Hilton Honors members are recognized well (eg free breakfast, everything free in minibar). Spacious rooms (recommend one with a jacuzzi near the beach - 91 or 105). Impeccable service and surroundings epitomize quiet luxury.

From the moment we arrived at this beautiful property, everything exceeded our expectations. The setting is lovely, service is warm and welcoming, and the restaurant was excellent. We had a large, beautifully appointed room with a terrace, which we truly enjoyed. But the best thing about this place is the location. It is close to everything with easy access to public transportation but you feel like you are miles away. The natural landscape is stunning and the resort makes every effort to respect and protect the environment. We visited the islands of Porquerolles and Port Cros and highly recommend both! We feel very fortunate to have spent 3 wonderful days here and hope to be back again.

First, we were told by Hilton corporate the room could sleep 4 people and reserved accordingly. We had to take another room upon arrival at a discounted rate. Rooms are very nice but we were not able to figure out light switches. For example you cannot take a shower with lights on with lights off elsewhere. Breakfast is nice but they have real weird utensils and plates. Personnel is very polite and helpful, grounds are fantastic. Room service is ridiculous, 39 Euros for a Cesar Salad.
