We booked our room (for 3 nights at 270 euros per night) 11 months ago. I asked at the time, and repeated my request a few days before arrival, if they could provide me some gluten-free bread at breakfast. No reply, and on the first morning, our host said she couldn’t buy special things for guests, it was too difficult. This was despite the cost of the room and having paid almost a year ago, and despite the fact that the hotel has a restaurant for which they must have to order food every day. This was the only time in our 3.5 week holiday in France that our hotel or B&B made zero effort. I think this is poor service.
