Elephant Hills Resort

Had an overnight stay at this hotel on Dec-26, 2024 in room 671. Upon arrival for check-in, we were served a welcome drink (baobab). This hotel has a huge luggage storing room and the attendant helped with luggage trolley into lift and delivered our luggage upto our room. Our room had Zambezi river views from its balcony from which you could even spot cruises on the river. The staff patiently wait outside the room while you finish packing to load luggage into trolley and descend via lift to help load into bus. The lift is opposite the gym and the restaurant is in the 4 floor (continental buffet breakfast on the morning of Dec-27, 2024) and the attentive servers ask for tea/coffee), good WiFi & sounds of natural surrounding wildlife plays always.
Ilala Lodge Hotel

The hotel is located a few hundred meters away from the business district, there is a small parking lot, and breakfast can be ordered in addition to regular food. The environment in the hotel is beautiful. As long as you are willing, you can make contact with animals without any distance. The hotel has rich functional areas and is clearly divided.
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

The hotel was clean, has a wonderful vulture show at 1pm where they feed the vultures, great view of a watering hole and staff is excellent. Housekeeping came into the room every evening pulled the mosquito netting around the bed and sprayed the room. We did have a few issues. We made reservations for dinner at the restaurant and when we arrived we were told they did not get have the reservation. My husband told the bar manager who said she would handle it and I was at the bar when she was handling the reservation. I suspect that they did not lose our reservation but could not honor it for other reasons. I certainly was not happy about that. They also did not have reservations for a another party that was also traveling with us. The a/c is adequate and the key is to turn on the a/c and the ceiling fan. I would suggest to have laundry done somewhere else as there was a ”grease spot” on a shirt that was returned from laundry. I was able to remove the spot with soap and water. Additionally we were there with a tour and another couples luggage on our tour ended up on the wrong bus even though it was properly labeled. Very nice hotel but has some caveats.

I found it! I know longer need to try a new hotel on my next trip to the Victoria Falls area. This was a new hotel for me as I travel for pleasure most but some mission work in the local and rural community. Very: beautiful comfortable and very clean Some luxury Food for all 3 meals was excellent And, price! I didn’t need to pay the high prices to get everything above. Oh, the Staff! Made my week+ stay absolutely wonderful. I could mention over 10 by name by I fear I’d miss somebody (or spell their name wrong).
The Victoria Falls Hotel

It is indeed a century-old luxury hotel built by British colonists. It shows aristocratic temperament everywhere, low-key atmosphere, thoughtful and meticulous service. The black brother guides you to a special living room for check-in, and sends you wet wipes and lemonade. The back garden of the hotel is facing the waterfall bridge. The most wonderful thing is to enjoy the mist rising from the waterfall while drinking English afternoon tea.

The overall environment of the hotel is very good, the facilities are a bit old but clean and tidy. Completely furnished, very close to the entrance to the waterfall. Staying for four days is a good experience, recommended.
