This is a nice hotel for its location and the grounds are pretty , but room and service was not good . Our room was cramped , the ac and wi fi didn’t work , and service and food in the restaurant were sub par . It may be the best in the area - but this isn’t a 5 star hotel

Fantastic Property on the Zambezi River which included a great breakfast with mimosas and a wide variety of food options. In addition, there was an afternoon tea which was very simple but a nice touch. The room was lovely and came with a one-time free mini-bar which was great for evening soft drinks or after dinner wine etc. There were also a few different animals around the property, mainly the warthogs which was very cool and made it fun. The pool was a little on the small side, however, you're probably not spending loads of time at the property so it's sufficient for what you would need to have a quick dip. The gift shop is too expensive and some of the prices were missing and when I bought something with a price the team later in the day told me that they were charging me more because they had put the incorrect price on the item which was a little frustrating. The shuttle bus is a fantastic option and is available pretty much on request (for free) which makes it nice and easy getting into town (and back). Easy to grab from the sister property which is pretty much in the heart of town so you're never too far away from transport.

Situated on the banks of the Zambezi river the hotel has all the comforts needed to get away from the heat. Clean rooms with spacious bathrooms. The restaurant is excellent with a good selection of beers, cocktails and SA wines, with a complimentary minibar to have sundowners on your balcony. Outside your room you will find hippos, warthogs, monkeys, mongoose, elephants and array of birdlife. There is a free shuttle service into town which is about 10mins. This is a real special place.

This was a truly wonderful hotel. the rooms are exceptional and the service second to none. Wonderful food and a grewat location set in extensive grounds on the banks of the Zambezi Our South African tour ended here, and they did save the best till last

Resting near the Zambezi River!!! What Beautiful Hotel. We stay here as part of group on a safari which included a visit to the nearby Victoria Falls. This hotel was without a doubt, the best hotel where we stayed. If it wasn't so far away from Florida, we would definitely return. The staff were outstanding and the rooms were unbelievable. A must stay.

This was stop number one of our African adventure and it did not disappoint. The staff was so very professional and caring. They double checked all our activities and reassured us that tansportation would be there when expected. The grounds were well maintained with a lawn looking out on the Zambezi River. Rooms were modern and clean and well kept. The dining area was nice and the food excellent. Morning breakfast was very nice. They offer a dinner cruise on the river at sundown which was a lot of fun with a good intro to game viewing. I can't say enough good things about this facility. Stay there if you go to Victoria Falls.

This hotel was simply exquisite! After a long journey, the ambience and location by the Zambezi River was just what we needed. The food was amazing, and the staff were friendly and provided lots of insight into the local area and life in Zimbabwe. The grounds were impeccably clean and full of flora and fauna, what was also nice to see was the abundance of wildlife freely roaming the grounds including Elephants, Warthogs, monkeys and small impala/antelope to name a few. We booked the sunset cruise and Dusty Road lunch through the hotel, both of which we highly recommend. The perfect base to venture into Zimbabwe and Zambia and of course Victoria Falls which was a 10-15 min leisurely drive away.

Ilike this hotel in every department. I will definitely recommend it. the rooms are nice size and comfortable. housekeeping staff are very good and polite. all my requests were taken care of. much appreciated. the food was great. the whole place is very beautiful and relaxing. I would have given it 5 if it wasn't of the night duty manager who was very rude about ordering dinner and lack of aircons in the lounge and dining area even if its open plus they should periodically fumigate for mosquitoes. I cannot wait to go back.
