What a beautiful and unique boutique hotel! Loved bringing my Travellingguy group here and between the friendly and super efficient staff and the delightfully designed and furnished rooms…. I cannot say a bad word! I look forward to bringing my next guests here as well .

My stay at Mbano was wonderful. The staff were attentive, caring, and kind. Mbano is black- female owned, getting the chance to speak with Dr. Matifadza Nyazema was inspiring. The turn down and ‘turn up’ services of the room were seamless. Special shout out to Praise and Helena for their flawless work. They offer delicious fine dining, with produce stocked from their beautiful garden on site. The location is a short drive to Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of nature. Due to the campus being a luxury outdoor oasis, there were many bugs outdoors. Mbano prepared for it. They supply bug spray/lotion that works well to keep them away. Inside the villa, bugs were minimal. I recommend keeping the large doors closed at all times. Thank you Mbano I will be back.

Exceptional! Service, food, suite… all 5* and then some. There are quite a few lodges in the surrounding area but most are quite “built up” with less greenery/ gardens. Mbano feels like you’re in the bush and surrounded by nature. Food was fresh, tasty and made with quality ingredients. It’s a limited menu so after day 4 got a bit “samey” but consistently high quality. The room was of very high spec with perfect finishes. Everything worked and highly convenient. Room was an excellent size with a substantial outside seating area. Staff were very friendly whether it was reception, restaurant, housekeeping, etc. You will need a car to get around once you leave the property and Victoria Falls is 10-15 minutes. Same to the airport.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was excellent, and the Chefs (John) recommendations suited our taste. They were happy to make dishes not on the menu, and it was all cooked to perfection. The rooms were spacious, and everything felt quality. The complementary shuttle bus to the villsge and falls worked brilliantly. We were very happy with our stay.

Very clean, cozy, and intimate lodge. Service was excellent from check-in to departure. Staff and chef was wonderful! If you come to Victoria Falls, please consider this lodge. You will not have any regrets. The management made sure you had everything you need.

This is the best hotel in the area! Even when comparing to the hotels on the river! The suites are very nice, have everything you need, great pool and grounds, excellent breakfast and restaurant but most of, fantastic people taking care of you at every turn. They pick you up from the hotel as part of your stay and have a shuttle in to town and to the falls. Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this hotel!

An incredible property right near town. It feels like a sanctuary when you stay here, each villa has luxe finishes and very large bathrooms, the breakfast each morning was farm to table and very good. The staff is incredible and can help you book activities, spa, etc highly recommend Mbano Manor!

Stunning location and fabulous service. We were lucky enough to spend three days at Mbano Lodge. The rooms are wonderful - thoughtfully designed, comfortable and incredibly specious. The pool area is lovely too, and the lounge is quite stunning. We were amazingly well looked after by the staff who arranged our trips with knowledgeable and extraordinarily friendly people. Afternoon tea was particularly enjoyable. We had no idea what to expect and it was our first trip to Zimbabwe, but we felt special and at home from the minute we arrived. The whole experience was unforgettable. I only hope we get the opportunity to return. Thank you so much for everything.

I had an excellent stay at Mbano Manor Hotel. It was a short stay, two nights before crossing the border into Zambia. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and the rooms were beautifully presented. The set up makes you feel like you have the place to yourself-I thought maybe I was the only guest until I saw a number of people checking out on my second night. The food was fantastic-in particular the oxtail stew with sadza for dinner, and the breakfasts each day were delicious. Definitely a good place to stay at if you want to stay somewhere luxurious to rejuvenate after a long day of walking at the Victoria Falls.
