Good place to stay. The hotel is ideally situated to explore the surrounding area. Excellent staff, friendly, attentive, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel after leaving Westfjords and on our way to Akureyri. The town itself was not a destination, but more of a transition in our travels. This hotel was excellent. The manager/owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. There’s coffee and tea 24/7. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The common area was very cozy. It was fun walking around town and we went on a hike. There was a good restaurant above the seal museum.

Basic and functional hotel for a roadtrip This was likely one of the smallest rooms I stayed in during my trip, but it was functional and clean. Windows, as you can see in the pictures are slim so the room feels a little cramped. Bathroom is also small but up to date, clean and functional. The hotel sends out an email with a code to open up a key locker with your key in it, if you arrive after hours. Alternatively, you can communicate with them using a ring doorbell. So you can just do your trip and not have to worry about arriving at specific time. Hotelroom had a smart TV with an active Netflix account for some reason, so I was able to watch a show to unwind before bed. Breakfast was basic, nothing out of the ordinary, compared to the other places I stayed at during my roadtrip. Staff seems reserved, but happy to help if anything is needed. I would stay here again when passing through. It was quite comfortable,

The owner Alla Dora is who will greet you. She has a wonderful inn and I think her value is on point with her pricing. A single person room does not have extra space, so meant for efficient travelers. I slept wonderfully and that is what matters I will plan to go back again 😊
