Had a great stay at the Narada. Was nice to get out of Shanghai for a weekend. The staff was great. Especially Love who was so helpful. She got us settled, offered advice/tips and made sure we were taken care of. Having the springs in the hotel was a perk. A nice way to relax after a long day. The rooms were comfortable and dinner at the hotel was pretty good. About a 40 min taxi ride from Nanxun Ancient Town. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing no frills weekend away.

The service was excellence with special thanks to Ms. Andy and the Manager - Mr. York Chen. During my stay, although was just one day, York was very attentive to my request. He personally led us to our room after the check in. He will text me to update on the best timing to have breakfast, to view the light up of the hotel and more. Andy was very patience in helping me to checking. As it was our anniversary, Ms. Andy initiated on giving us a cake and a bottle of red wine for our celebration. Kudos to both of you.

You can have breakfast with the giraffes by driving for 2.5 hours, but it is only open to hotel guests. The 2-day and 1-night stay at the manor is enough to visit all places, including the cute pet park, jungle leap and slide, small theater, osprey trail, children's park, etc. You don't need a ticket to visit the cute pet park, but you need to buy some food to feed them. The hotel has been around for a long time and some equipment and decoration are aging, which is understandable. The renewal fee is relatively high, and some references are given to other guests who need to renew their rooms. We have the right to check out temporarily until two o'clock, and need to renew until five o'clock. Three hours are directly charged according to half a day's room rate. Although I don't understand, the staff just do things according to the regulations, which is not a complaint. Let me talk about the problem: First, sound insulation. The sound insulation of the star hotel is the same as that of the express hotel. The normal conversation of the people next door can be heard clearly here, and the TV seems to be playing on my forehead. I don't know why I thought I was staying at Huazhu. Second, there is a communication problem between the hotel departments. I had already told the hotel that I wanted to renew my room in the morning and paid all the fees, but the cleaning staff still used their card to open the door in the afternoon. I had just finished taking a shower and was getting dressed. I was very speechless. After learning that I had renewed my room, they asked me to come in and clean first. What do I want to ask? Did I pay for a room just to see the hotel clean it? I hope the hotel will strengthen training and communication, and not put the blame on the cleaning staff.

I came to Huzhou during the May Day holiday and didn't plan to go to any tourist attractions. It's relatively quiet here and not so crowded. There are small trains, lobster fishing, fruit and vegetable picking, children's outdoor playground, and outdoor water world (we didn't play because it wasn't very hot). The hotel is just a few hundred meters away from the Xishanyang Wetland, where there are peacocks, black swans, and flamingos. The children had a lot of fun feeding the black swans.
