"We chose the homestay for it's secluded location and loved every bit of it! The rooms were fantastic. The staff were very warm and welcoming, and made sure everything was perfect. The bbq experience with the outdoor karaoke setup was great! Sang our hearts out! The view of the bamboo forest from the room coupled with an outdoor balcony made the evenings that much more special to enjoy with our group. The breakfast meals were an absolute delight and the staff made sure to cater exactly as we requested. Transport (via alipay car hail) was a bit of an issue because of the scarcity of taxis in the area, but the auntie at the hotel was kind enough to arrange a taxi through one of her friends. The hotel outdoor area is very spacious and had multiple activities to follow including water gun fights and trampolines. We really did let the kid inside of us run wild this weekend. The fishing experience was fun and educating although we couldn't catch any ourselves. All in all, such a great weekend and will definitely recommend to anyone including foreigners. 5/5 Totally satisfied."

"非常符合預期的一次休閑度假。來之前做了功課，特意選擇了環境好的鄉村作為目的地。 看來沒有選錯。 首先民宿設施新， 好像開業不久， 衞生和用品方面都沒得説。管家還給我們升級了房間，並事先開好空調，是豪華套房， 270度視野，瀕臨一條大運河，還有一顆巨大的有着165年樹齡的樟樹，從陽台就伸手可及樹葉。 看到一條條船衹從運河上悠悠駛過，感覺時光也變慢了。 再來説説餐飲， 我們二天的晚餐都是在民宿裏吃的，味道不錯，也不貴，對得起“私房菜”的名分。工作日的中午和晚上都有很多人來用餐， 感覺他們家餐飲是主業，住宿反而是副業了🤭説到休閑度假，就要看看周邊的景觀了，整個菰城村的生態綠化非常棒，而且樹木都很高大，有道觀，寺院， 森林公園，自然村落，網紅咖啡西餐館都很近， 再遠一些的古村，如狄港古鎮，潞村都在20分鐘車程內。 總之要休閑的，擁抱大自然的，還要小眾一些的，來這裏肯定沒錯的。"
