The room is close to South Taihu Lake, just a few minutes' walk away. The room is small and exquisite, with a large balcony. On a sunny day, it should be nice to enjoy the view from the balcony. There is free parking and breakfast. We were a family trip with 5 people, and the lady was very considerate and brought us another quilt. Worth recommending!

At the entrance of Fisherman's Wharf, across the street is the food street by the lake, and it only takes about ten minutes to walk to the toilet seat. It's quite quiet when there aren't many guests.

過年期間全家出遊，選擇了位於太湖邊上的笠澤小院，這家店還是攜程旗下的酒店，不過服務和品質都有待提高。酒店的地理位置非常不錯，離太湖漁人碼頭很近，步行可以看到湖州標誌性建築“馬桶圈”，那邊離太湖古鎮也很近，打錯就餐都很方便。酒店的房間確實不錯，不過設施一般，房間裏的浴缸像很久沒有用過似的，放出來的水是綉水。另外酒店用的空調類似風機，房間温度打不上來，長者感覺有點冷。非常不滿意的是酒店告知過年期間客流量大，熱水系統壞了，啥時候能修好都不清楚。對於酒店來説，這種是重要設施也能壞，不知道是平時疏於維護還是設施老化。因此原本打算住2，天的我們把訂單改成了一天，立馬換了個酒店。希望酒店在基礎設施方面加強維護。
