Nanxun Chunjigming Nongwatang Hotel

The sanitation and environment were excellent, which was great! The amenities were also quite good! The soundproofing wasn't great, but since it's a B&B renovated from an old house, it's understandable! Here's the kicker! The power outage happened around 6:00 in the morning, and I woke up around 7:00 without air conditioning and couldn't sleep. We kept waiting for the power to come back on, and then it went out again. It's summertime, and it's so hot without air conditioning that I couldn't sleep! I spent nearly 1,000 yuan on a B&B, but I didn't sleep well. I checked out at noon and quickly moved to another B&B! The main issue was that there was no explanation after we checked out. We just left without even an apology. This is my objective review, based on my personal experience.

I rarely write reviews, but I can't resist giving this one a thumbs-up!! The owner is incredibly kind, and the service is excellent. I even booked a boat before we even arrived. The hotel room was spotless, and everything was nice and detailed. The pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it a rare hotel night. The hotel is right on the river, and they offer three courses of tea, so I didn't have to go elsewhere for afternoon tea. At night, the view from Baijianlou is breathtaking, and any photo opportunity is stunning. There are also restaurants across the street! The location is also great. If you want to experience the boat ride, you can take it to the hotel. If you want to take a taxi directly, there's a door just across the street, so you can get there directly. It's very convenient. Location: The northern area of ​​Nanxun Ancient Town. The ancient town is divided into north and south areas. The north area is relatively quiet. The homestay is next to the river, in the Baijianlou area, and next to it is the Huamanlou Suzhou Pingtan Performance Shop. This place is much better than the South District. If you go out for a walk around the ancient town at six in the morning, you will feel like you have it all to yourself. 😁 There is a pier next to the B&B. In the morning, we chartered a rowboat to visit the old house of Mr. Zhang, which was awesome. The girl at the front desk of the B&B is very nice. It is a very relaxed place. We were presented with three courses of tea and a fruit set. Before we left, the boss even took out his own fine Mingqian tea for us to taste. There are boat shuttles in and out of the ancient town. Although there are a lot of people during the Qingming Festival, this homestay enjoys its own unique tranquility.

Nanxun is very beautiful. Staying in Baijianlou B&B for one night is really a great and worthwhile experience. The boss also arranged for a boatman to take us from the pier to the B&B, so we don’t have to drag a lot of luggage. It’s very convenient. I will definitely go back if I have the chance. The service was excellent. The snacks at the Qingjian Linshui Double Tea were delicious, but I wasn't very fond of the Nanxun Three-Course Tea. The only downside: there were too many mosquitoes in the room, and the mosquito repellent didn't work. I was bitten all over.
