The staff are the friendliest staff I have encounter in all my years of staying at motels/hotels. We check in very late Tuesday night/Wednesday a.m. and Dave was so sweet and helpful - we ran into him later in the morning and had a wonderful conversation. The gals handling the Bistro Bar could not have been nicer or more efficient. We witness several new employees being trained by other employees and you could really see the ”family”. (We so enjoyed talking with Liz who was working the Wine Bar finding out she was from our neck of the woods.) All staff pitching in to help the others to keep customers satisfied - it was so refreshing to see. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We don't request daily maid service and were pleasantly surprised when we returned from a day out to find a bag of fresh clean towels in front of our door. We truly felt welcomed here. Plenty of eating establishments in walking distance and if you are a walker like my husband and I exploring the neighborhood is awesome with beautiful colonial style homes.
