Jaz Makadina

We stayed in Makadina in the beginning of November for the almost one week. And we are very happy with our stay! The hotel is really nice with the beautiful rooms, 5 star service, beautiful area, friendly staff and it is so nice that we can walk around as it is part of mini town of Madinat Makadi. Also we visited the Aquaprk and we got a lot of fun! We felt, and all others guests I think, so special there and warm welcomed by everyone. Just we want to say big thanks to everyone and mention some names of the staff with whose we were in contact every day and they were so nice to us: First of all big thanks to Mr. Khaled from Front Office and his team for the warm welcome, nice room and special arrangement for our anniversary! Thanks to Mostafa from Housekeeping, who took care about our room (309) Thanks to the Chef Najha and his team, we loved the food! Thanks to Mostafa from Aqua and Mahmoud from Al Masry as they were very attentive to us. And last but not least, thanks to Disco from animation and his team, we enjoyed all activities and the evening program! Keep it up and we hope to come back P. S. We have two negative points to suggest: the Wi-Fi in the room is very weak and unfortunately, the dinner with a-la carte option is available one time only, but could be more as there a lot of restaurants on the area which we wanted to try (the Nino was nice ).

Absolutely gorgeous hotel set in well tended gardens sitting right on the beach, staff were all very helpful and friendly although some did ask for tips whilst serving you. The reason I have only given the place two stars is due entirely down to the poor quality of the food and drinks, as this is an all inclusive hotel and there are only a couple of independent restaurants close by you have to eat at the hotel. The drinks, wine and beer were often not cold in fact the wine was occasionally warm. The food was bland and it was difficult to find a combination of items that went together to make a complete meal, it was also when we ate towards the end of a sitting Luke warm, if you offer a service for several hours the food should be as good for the late eaters and the early ones. Even the fruit was of poor quality melon hard and tasteless if not good.We were asked by a lady round the pool, a member of staff, if everything was ok and we told her our thoughts on the food and she said she would discuss it with the exec chef who we saw many times wandering around perusing his domain think his time would be better spent in the kitchens planning and checking meals were worth serving. One special mention to the guy who cleaned our room every day he did a really great job and checked with us that we were happy with his work, he also amused us with a different towel sculpture of a different animal each night now he was worth a tip when we left and he never once asked us for one.

Super! Relaxing and excellent! Nice facilities, excellent staff, very clean, super activities. Excellent food and it's variety. I came here because my adult kids chose this hotel. I had not so high expectations, but it was an excellent week in Hurghada and this hotel particularly.

My family and I had an incredible stay at Jaz Makadina in Hurghada this April. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our trip perfect. Here's why we highly recommend this hotel: * Outstanding Service: A special shout-out to Chef Nagah, Mr. Sameh from the restaurant, and the hotel manager. Their attentiveness and care made us feel incredibly welcome. * Impeccable Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean, with a focus on hygiene that made us feel comfortable. * High-Quality Entertainment: We were impressed by the nightly shows – they were truly entertaining and a highlight of our evenings. * Perfect for Families: The beach access was perfect, with clear water, soft sand, and a stunning reef for snorkeling right off the shore. * The variety of delicious food was fantastic, with something to please everyone. * One comment on the Limousine Service from the airport: the car which was advertised to fit 4 barely had space for 2 adults, 2 small kids and our luggages. Overall, our stay at Jaz Makadina was faultless. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing and enjoyable family vacation in Hurghada!

We have stayed at over 10 best of the best trip advisor rated hotels and unfortunately this hotel did not meet our expectations. Positives -Room cleaning is great and spotless -Entertainment team are great and shows are fantastic - lovely grounds - cocktails are lovely but very strong - Amara restaurant is the a la carte we visited. Only the mains were tasty, everything else was poor and the wine was warm. Negatives - Food is very repetitive. The breakfast items have stayed the same for the past week and it gets boring - Wi-Fi is awful and need Wi-Fi to book a la carte restaurants. The booking system does not work. We have been here 6 days and only managed to book 1 due to poor Wi-Fi or the system saying restaurants are closed (when they weren’t) - No good for babies is offered and prev hotels supply food. They only have mash, sometimes some beef or fish for kids but not much else - They offer oat milk and other plant based milks at breakfast only. When you want a hot beverage with plant based milk I was told there was only whole milk - there is an entertainment schedule and the husband and I wanted to do cocktail making. When we asked x 3 members they didn’t know what we were talking about. We then were told it was an old schedule. - 2 adults and 2 children were put in a disabled room. We asked for room to be changed and had to pay a fee Suggestion: If you want sweetener refer to it as diet sugar otherwise you get people pulling faces Unfortunately we won’t be returning

All activities in one place at jaz makadina hotel. I liked the rooms the view the easy access to the beach and food and beverage accessible all time.i highly recommend this hotel

Overall good experience, food shoud be a little bit better , service and workers very good. From my experience but too good guest ,I suggest if you are not from Germany or Russia you will find difficult to create friendship. A part this good experience

We already reviewed the hotel in Google. The hotel is lovely. The external part is stunning and well curated. The interior of rooms should be upgraded and more suitable for children under 5. È. G lower sink and bigger. More toilets for family of 5 and brighter rooms. The food quality should be upgraded too. Some food are not great and don't taste much. Staff is friendly (some), I would suggest more knowledgeable of English. Bar should have nicer cocktails making and prosecco and more variety of alcohol to choose from. The entertainment is great. The people is friendly and lively. I would loved to see more local dances and entertainment. If kids shows is done should be more suitable and safe for any age. In general for the price we paid is a good deal. Small adjustments it will make an absolute lovely hotel for families. Not suitable for only adults.
