Seagull Beach Resort - Families and Couples Only

On arrival you’re offered a welcome drink. Our luggage was taken as we checked in. Room was allocated, no pushing of being offered upgrades etc. We got handed a list of all the food times and areas for food/drinks. But what would’ve been handy with it would’ve been a map as I’m sure we missed out on lots by not knowing. Room… Shown to our room, which was 812. Partial view of the beach, and the sun didn’t reach our balcony at any point in the day. The room was spacious, small fridge in room, hairdryer in bathroom, safe in room but buttons didn’t work very well so feared to use it. It was 2 bed that were pushed together, made for a huge bed but we weren’t really sharing a bed either. The air conditioning is very noisy, not sure how it’ll be for hotter months. Plenty storage in room. Food… The main buffet restaurant was good enough, but it’s crazy busy. And wasn’t easy to get a table. The food selection was plentiful and we ate there most days for a week but on the second week ate outside the hotel. Always a lovely selection of breads/salads/fruits. A meat bbq section outside that served different things on different days - burgers, beef, chicken, kofta. The restaurant at the beach was fine too and plenty choice for a bite to eat at the beach. We took our own water bottles and just kept topping them up at the bars and this was totally ok. Beach… There are 2 beach’s and the one near the restaurant area is lovely, even has some reefs, and we saw some really beautiful coral and fish. For February the sea was cooler but still pleasant. You’re approached lots by photo/trips/spa/juice sellers/tattoo, they are friendly even when you say no thank you. Spa… We went to the spa and we both had massage it was 35 euros each, we then ended up booking facials and pedicures and the whole thing was 238 euros which was extremely expensive for what we had. But it was one of the situations where you don’t really know what’s being said, what you have signed up for and felt kind of railroaded into it. The massage wasn’t particularly good and definitely not worth the money. We didn’t go back to the spa. Just across from the hotel is another spa and they offer massage from as little as 10 euros. Pool areas… and grounds The pool areas are lovely and plenty of beds. The grounds are kept very clean, and the staff work very hard to keep everything clean and nice. There is a little zoo type thing. But for me this didn’t sit nicely as the birds would’ve been so much happier freely walking around. If the hotel could work on having the bird wandering an area that would’ve been incredible. But instead it just made me feel sad for them. WiFi…. You get handed a card with your own username and password in it. It’s allocated for the duration of your stay and is only able to be used on one device at a time, which was slightly annoying. The worst hotel we have ever been. Nobody told us, that the hotel was under constructions. The room they gave for our family was a real disaster in an old unrenovated part: a broken bathroom, the bed linen wasn' t changed, old and torn curtains, and a terrible noise from outside.The Next day they replaced the room as it was impossible to sleep because of the noise. We were a family of four, instead of a family room we got a room for 2/ 3 people. The room was better, however with a view to a construction site. Moreover, receptionist and staff are not so polite as in some reviews. Be carefull choosing the hotel if you want not to experience the shock we had.

A hotel with a very good location and excellent service. The team is friendly, always welcoming and helpful. The food is good and the selection is large. The evenings are organized, there is an event every night. In addition, musicians will also perform.

Everything is very good, the animation is for a five stars, Beautiful hotel, with clean rooms, good staff, every moment is fil with good entertainment... The vacation is overall great.... Staff also very very very friendly and welcoming.

I love Seagull Beach Resort! Everything was perfect! Very good food, all the people here are nice, helpful and respectful. A lot of funny activities, sports, gym, everything a person want from a vacation. Well organised everything.

Hotel Sea Gull Beach Resort to bardzo dobry hotel, na wysokim poziomie, pokoje przestronne codziennie sprzątane, przestronne , wygodne łóżka,jedzenie dobre, urozmaicone,5 basenów do dyspozycji gości w tym 2 + aquapark podgrzewane w okresie zimowym.Przepiękna zadbana roślinność wokół hotelu, miejsca do spacerów, wszędzie czysto i przytulnie. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna,na terenie obiektu panuje wspaniała rodzinna atmosfera zupełnie jak domu, dlatego warto tutaj wracać:)))

One from the best hotel in hurghada and in the best location ever middle of Sheraton street, food and cocktails are amazing and good for value I love the entertainment team so much they do great job, big hotel with lot of areas and deferent variety restaurants, rooms are very clean and comfortable, the reception is very helpful and they open your mood always, also the security everywhere which is very safe for the families and for all the guest whose enjoy the vacation I will be back for sure

Very good hotel! It's a must-do for everyone who wants to have a lot for a small ammount. We paid 1000 euro with 2 people with Corendon. For this price we got a great room, good food, nice staff, clean and nice looking hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to get good price/quality. Our stay was in March.
