Had a fantastic week in this hotel in the heart of Makadi Bay. Food, rooms, facilities, cleanliness all spot on. Special mention has to go to Marco (number 1 waiter) and Nour (entertainments team), both a credit to their jobs and one of the main reasons we would return.

Just returned home from an amazing trip to Jaz star and spa, we changed our hotel to this one based on reviews from another hotel in the bay with less complementary comments and so glad we did, from the moment we got to the hotel we received 5 star treatment. Everything and I mean everything about our holiday was just superb. Immaculately clean and beautiful. Firstly I want to give a shout out to the staff, who could not do enough for us! making sure we had everything and bringing drinks ( which they already knew once we’d ordered one) right to our sun bed or table. Here I want to give a special shout out to Ahmed and Mahamoud in the pool bar and lounge bar. They even knew what glass we liked! Ahmed made our holiday, such a kind, gentle and funny young man, who all the guests appreciated. This man is a complete asset to your staff team! All the staff work so hard and it didn’t go unnoticed. Long hours and always with genuine smiles! Special thanks also to Hashim who looked after us on the beach bringing us fresh drinks even before our glass was empty. We didn’t intend to take trips on this holiday but the ones we did were great fun and reasonable, we did a snorkelling trip ( which is also great right off the beach) a quad bike tour, semi sub boat trip, all fab, you will be asked to buy photos on every excursion it seems but if you don’t want them, they are cool with this. One more thing I’d like to say, like so many other guests is the food was amazing, so much choice, half the time we even forgot to go out the the bbq/ pizza area to see what was on offer there as there is so much inside and the bakery section for breakfast is world class! It is clear that everyone at Makadi Star and spa works tirelessly, from the pool guys to the gardeners, the porters, chefs, waiters, animation team, front of house and all behind the scenes to make holidays special! This was an unforgettable holiday because of atmosphere created by you all, we rarely return to the same place twice, but for a winter sun holiday we truly don’t think this can be beaten! We love mo! The service, food, people and atmosphere was the best. We loved the belly dancing the most. Hotel room was clean and cool.

Amazing amazing hotel, although the staff and their wish to make you happy makes it. All I can say is they should work a little less! Thank you to all the team. Everything was very clean, food great, drinks good, beach beautiful, animation excellent. AMAZING!!! 🫶❤️xxxxx

Everything was amazing and good quality, would definitely recommend for families and couples, very impressed. Bar staff was very fast and friendly and food was very good and caters for all needs, would definitely come again and again lovely place to be
