The hotel can take foreigners. I came to Khorgos early by train to directly take to bus to Almaty (Kazakhstan), but unfortunately it was Kazakhstan Independence day so the border was closed for 2 days. Had to find a place to stay and wait until the 18 Dec. This one came up as the cheapest option on Trip but honestly I am not sure if I like it or not… For the price listed on Trip when I booked last minute, it would not be worth it. The hotel is run down a lot. Many dirty marks everywhere inside the room, There is no non-smoking room so the smoke smell inside the room is quite heavy. I booked on Trip one night. I negotiated with the reception for 100rmb for the second night and it was ok. It should not be more than that. The good thing is it is near Youyi pedestrian street which is the hang-around place of town. Not much to do here but shopping and chill, waiting for the border to open…

I stayed here once in the first half of the year. It was a building facing the street in the front. This time in the second half of the year, I don't know why I was arranged to stay in the building at the back. It was old and run-down. The room was outdated. The quilt and bed sheets needed to be replaced. They were too outdated. The only advantages were breakfast and a convenient location.

The service attitude is very very bad! The hotel is full of cockroaches and it is disgusting. The waiters will not assist the guests in anything! Do we owe you? The room was very unclean

After checking in for one day, I wanted to extend the Ctrip room for one day and it became more than 200. The front desk processed 160. Ctrip's greed is very ugly. At 3:30 in the morning of the second day, someone knocked on the door, but it was not opened. Another person came and said he was a staff member and wanted to check my ID card. He said that the system showed that I was a foreigner. The police station called to verify the information, but it turned out that the front desk made a mistake. They knocked on the door at 3:30 in the morning. I really ****** passed by in my heart. I don’t know how the front desk staff of the hotel work.

There is a small park inside the hotel with a large green area.

The hotel has been open for a long time, so it is normal for the facilities to be old, but the sanitary conditions are good. There is breakfast available, with not many varieties but you can definitely eat enough. The location is very good and it is very close to the scenic area.
