Spent 3 nights here and the only reason it gets a 3 is because of mostly pleasant staff. The room was tired, dingy, moldy, had a rusted bathroom light fixture, rusted bathroom mirror, moldy tub, a toilet seat missing a piece and that didn't fit properly, a still moving roach in the closet, curtains with multiple rips, rusty microwave front, and goodness only knows what type of stains on the bedskirt. There was no hand soap. Two guests were given 2 very thin and small bath towels and 1 wash cloth. When we asked for another wash cloth and clean towels, we were told their supply was low and they only did service for linens every 7 days. Hello? Local Health Department? Please inspect and give lessons on hygiene and safety!! Will not stay at this location again.

The people working at this hotel are some of the nicest people I’ve met! I travel often for work but stayed here with my family to help our oldest son shop for a house. This is our first time in Alabama and every single person has been extremely pleasant and accommodating! They greet you, ask if you need anything, help people with any questions and are always, always smiling! Excellent customer service!!!

The GM was on duty to check us in; he really struggled in a few areas. He did not offer me an upgrade as titanium; he only offered me to select a floor for my king suite. When I asked for an upgrade he obliged. But, he was challenged in putting in correct code. This was quite time consuming which was puzzling... does he not offer anyone upgrades to not know how to do it? He was quite friendly and tried to be accommodating but he also did not offer me choice of points or food and beverage credit. So two big misses is concerning for his level of experience. The hotel itself is old and tired. It needs a serious deep clean - the carpets are stained and the doors all need to be painted. Our microwave had duck tape to hold it together!? The staff overall is very good! Great breakfast staff and front desk clerk was on top of things at check out. Appreciate it is dog friendly

The hotel was clean, had ample parking, friendly staff at both check in and check out. A big Target and other shops a short walk across the (not busy at all) road. Lots of local food options and lots on Uber Eats. Bed was comfortable, shower was decent, AC worked well, TV signal was good, breakfast was plentiful. Not sure where some of the aggressively negative reviews have come from here - at the end of the day you get what you pay for, and this was a great example at the price point.

From the minute we walked into the hotel, we were welcomed and treated so well. Mack checked us in and had such a happy attitude and willingness to help. Our room was large, clean and comfy. The breakfast area was always clean and well stocked with eggs, a breakfast meat, breads, cereals, milk and juice. The only thing lacking was fresh fruit. We had some medical issues during the trip and the staff was so helpful and took care of our situation immediately. When Phoebe, Mack, or Daylon were at the front desk, you could always expect a smile and kind word. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

TownePlace Suites Huntesville We stayed here for one night because my dad is a Marriott Bonvoy member and we needed a place to stay. Upon arrival we went to our room and found that the carpet had not be properly vacuumed so needless to say our socks were black. I needed a bed to sleep on so we pull out the pull out bed which we found out it was extremely dirty and had a stain on the mattress. I moved the little table that was in front of the couch so we could be able to pull the bed out. When I touched my hand stuck to the table. We also found out that the dishwasher leaked all night. The breakfast wasn’t good either which is sad because you would think being a Marriott property the breakfast would be excellent. Not I.in this place. We ended up stopping at a McDonald’s for breakfast. I would NEVER stay here again!

I hit there after sunset and drive past the driveway as their sign was not lit. The lobby entrance is simply a regular door, not like the entrance to a motel, The lobby was clean, as was the room. Quiet venue, AC worked great, room was adequate with a 2/3 size fridge, and a small kitchenette. It has a Kuerig. The breakfast was the typical crappy free fare most hotels in this category have available. The pool is on the smaller size, but large enough to let the kids work off some energy. Weber grills are available if you’re wanting a steak. Overall decent place.

Im loyal to Marriotts and this is the worst Marriott I’ve stayed at. First of all the main entrance was hidden in the back and not obvious. This looks like an old motel that they’re trying to turn into a hotel. There is a lock beside one of the outer side doors, but it didn’t work and anyone could walk off the street and get in. The walls are paper thin so all the noises travel. There were loud patrons every night. The last night I woke up several times thinking someone was breaking in but it was nearby doors locking and unlocking throughout the night. There may have been remodeling/renovations going on. If there were no one said anything. The room was musty, dank, and smelled really bad; like smoking being covered up by cheap air fresheners. It was very stuffy. The carpet was old, the shower head was rusty/dirty. I could not wait to leave and wished I had looked for another hotel. The only positive was that the staff were friendly.
