Simon and Linda helped us out in an Emergency. We stopped 3 nights. The location is superb. The quality of the accommodation is excellent. Definitely would recommend this property to everyone. The garden is brilliant. Very clean and tidy.

What a find in the middle of the country! Great welcome from the owners, lovely comfortable room, great touch of providing small jug to get fresh milk from fridge (which you could put your own food in) for tea/coffee in room. Hot cooked breakfast provided in price, option of toast and cereal as well. Got to leave with some home grown tomatoes as well!

This was the perfect stop off driving from North to South and was an oasis of calm after a long time driving down the M6. We were welcomed in and offered breakfast in the morning at a time to suit ourselves. The bedroom and ensuite were lovely and spacious with perfectly fluffy towels and a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We use the Hall Farm B&B as a base for business trips and it's always lovely. I usually travel with my brother and we take both rooms - allowing us to have the whole place to ourselves. Location - Very idyllic and remote - plenty of wildlife around and beautiful views. The isolation means it's such a peaceful place to be. Rooms - One room is a double room with shower, toilet and sink en suite. This is directly opposite the side entrance door and easy for taking in your travel bag, etc. The room is not overlooked and very peaceful. There is also a television and sofa to chill out on. The second room is a twin with bath/shower, toilet and sink en suite. The room has a set of french doors that lead out onto a patio area with bench and seat, and access to a huge guest garden - it's about the size of half a football pitch! It's an absolute sun trap in the afternoon to evening and we often sit out here for drinks. Again there is also a television and sofa. Both rooms are immaculately clean, towels changed daily if staying more than one night and cups, plenty of toilet rolls, etc available in bathroom. The beds are super comfortable and the linen is clean and soft. Hosts - Hosts are lovely. Very friendly without being invasive. We have a good chat with the owners on several occasions during our stays and they're always genuine and helpful. Facilities - The set is essentially you have one third of a country house. Your own entrance door, access to your room or rooms and a hallway leading to a guest kitchen/dining room - it's huge! Within the kitchen is a large fridge/freezer (milk supplied by hosts), toaster, microwave, kettle (free tea/coffee/sugar/sweeteners), oven and sink. The dining table is large enough to accommodate ten people. All facilities are clean and tidy. Access - Access is gained via a single track road that is only used by the hosts and their family. We have never encountered difficulty in accessing the property. The parking ample enough for half a dozen cars but realistically the accommodation can only manage two sets of guest so no issues at all. Value for money - Superb. Genuinely, you will struggle to find alternative accommodation nearby or anywhere that offers as much as this for the price. We never feel underwhelmed and always feel like we're underpaying. Breakfast - Great - fry up option with toast, butter, other spreads etc all available. Overall we highly recommend staying here. Once we have the dates for our next trip we will be booking!

Having booked just a few days in advance, this B&B was far better value than the usual Prem Inn/Travelodge/Holiday Inn chains I might usually stay at. The low price paid may have just been a one-off as there appeared to be no other guests staying while I was there. Arrived as late as 8.40pm but still received a friendly welcome and asked at what time I would like breakfast and whether that would be a cooked breakfast or not. The room was spacious with two twin beds, a two-seater sofa, TV, tea and coffee with a jug of fresh milk - both the room and the bathroom were spotless. The view of the garden from the window was gorgeous. I was given the internet router password and connected easily. The bed was very comfortable and I slept quite well, The shower in the morning was piping hot. The breakfast was served at a large table - tea or coffee, cereals, bread for toasting, marmalade and local honey - the cooked breakfast was delivered very quickly and was piping hot. I certainly didn't need to eat again before mid-afternoon.
