The room is tiny, there is no hair dryer or ironing facilities, the walls have selotape on them, the toilet roll holder is being held up by selotape, there is no wifi. Absolutely awful for the price. £75 is far too much for the appalling state of the room. Very disappointed

Place was so warm and homey rooms were fantastic. Staff were very friendly especially Kirsty who always had a smile on her face. I left after 6 days and with a new friendship. Thanks for all you did Kirsty look forward to seeing you again. Me and my crew will definitely be back

What an excellent welcome. We arrived with the wrong dates booked (our fault). Not a problem! We were offered a room, greeted with wonderful hospitality. We were then offered all the specials that were on and everything about our accommodation explained. Room lovely. Bed linen spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Enjoyed a lovely drink outside and again directed to local business for breakfast. Lots of activity at this business. Kirsty was a sensational host and a huge thumbs up to her. What an asset to a business!! Thank you Kirsty!! We will be back!!!

We popped in for dinner this evening and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We hadn’t booked but happy to fit us in and they were so nice and friendly. Some places don’t always make young children feel welcome but all the staff chatted to them Food was lovely too Would definitely recommend

This place is fantastic, excellent value for money. The room was clean and very modern. We had an excellent stay. The evening meal was lovely and the breakfast was that good we were looking forward to it the night before. We have to give a shout out to the chef that served us breakfast both mornings. What a lovely guy! So polite and helpful a credit to the place. We were served by a lovely barmaid who checked us in and was so helpful. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend the place. Thank-you for a lovely stay we really enjoyed it

Sadly not a great visit as the 2 girls seemed more interested in chatting to each other than serving the paying public, got a pint and Guinness which seemed chilled at best and when I asked for a big bottle of wine I asked if it was in the fridge she replied no sorry but I can give you bucket with ice, which I said yes, got an ice bucket with 5 cubes of ice in it, we drunk up and left, very disappointing time was had by all

I am very impressed with this hotel/pub. On entrance I was greated by the owners. They explained everything I needed to know leaving me with no questions - it really is the simple things that make the biggest impressions. My room was so clean I could not find fault. Usually I do not sleep well in another bed, but my bed was extremely comfortable I did not want to leave. Unfortunately I had to leave early so did not get the chance to eat breakfast, but if it was anything like the steak and caramelised onion baguette I had the night before, I am sure it would have been equally as delicious!

Steve and the team hosted our wedding reception in the function room, it was amazing. The food was superb and the service provided was second to none. I would strongly recommend this pub to anyone and will certainly be back, whether it's just for a meal or a future event.
