Excellent hotel with lovely staff and a great restaurant. The back yard is very cozy and at the time we visited (June) all the tables had lot of happy guests. It also has a jacuzzi that I can’t wait to try out next time if I am here in the colder months. Our room felt very homely, but at the same time stylish. Definitely the best place to stay in Smaland

We recived a weekend in Hultsfred as a wedding gift and included in that was a night at the Palace Hotell. After usually staying in big mainstream hotels this was something completely different. It was small and cozy with a lot of personal touches. It holds a lot of history but has been tastefully renovated. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed and a nice bath. Breakfast in the morning was great and consisted of everything one might want. And the host (Christian) what a gem, nothing was too big or too small for him to sort out. I have never felt so indulged before at a hotel. We will defiantly be recommending this to more people passing through. Lastly, the open shrimp sandwiches were divine

Angesichts der vielen positiven Bewertungen sind wir extrem enttäuscht. Das ist so ziemlich das schlechteste Hotel, in dem wir jemals waren. Nachdem, was wir im Restaurant gesehen haben, mochten wir dort nichts mehr essen. Servietten, die aussahen, als hätte sie schon jemand benutzt. Wenn sie oder Besteck vom Tisch fallen, wird es einfach wieder auf den Tisch gelegt, damit der nächste Gast sie benutzen kann. Das in der Buchung enthaltene Abendessen (es gab nur eins, keine Auswahl) war ungenießbar. Der Hotel- und Restaurantchef öffnet die Tür mit dem Fuß, wenn er Teller tragen muss und keine Hand frei hat. 30cm vor ihm saß dabei meine Frau. Wie ein ganz schlechter Film. Kaffeemilch auf dem Zimmer seit Monaten abgelaufen. Von der Wand gerissene Steckdosen usw. AUßerdem sehr hellhörig. Direkt vor unseren Zimmern befand sich die Außengastronomie, so dass an Schlaf (mit Kind!) kaum zu denken war. Ein ziemliches Desaster. Für uns nie wieder.

Gemütliches Hotel mit barocker Einrichtung, Bad modern, sauber. Wasserkocher auf den Zimmer, außerdem kann man sich Kaffee auf den Flur machen. Essen lecker ! Alles wird mit Liebe und echter Hingabe gemacht ! Super freundlich und unkompliziert HUNDEFREUNDLICH 😊🐶
