Booked 2 rooms. A lot of problems with rooms, such as,
1. No soap and other cleaning supplies. Had to ask to provide them.
2 No TV channel because subscription was not renewed
3. No hot water. Technician couldn't fix it.
4. Phone service to call reception was not working. Everytime we had to go physically down to tell them face-to-face which wax frustrating and disgusting.
4. Bed side light was burnt out. When they replaced with a new bulb still it was not working because the line was not working. Until we left, it was like that.
5. Bedsheet was torn off
6. Bathroom floor was flooded with water after taking shower.
Had to complain to clean it. Drain line was clogged.
7. Sink was same. Water is always clogged.
8. The girl in the front desk always busy over the cell phone without giving us any atte time to solve our problems.
9. Sometimes we couldn't find the girl in the desk because she was busy talking to some guy in the lobby sitting beside him.
10. AC was not working. Remote was not working. They fixed it but after a while I couldn't control AC with the remote. Had to take out the batteries and insert again to make the remote control function again. Invented this technique and used it many times as you know it was really troublesome to go to reception physically
11. Room size, bathroom size, toilet size were very small. Hardly we could move in the room.
12. The location was so bad because it is next to water sports club,, a very busy area, all the time a lot of traffic is moving so the place is really noisy.
Overall this is not a hotel for North American or European traveller's as the staff said all local traveller's don't complain or they complain less or don't care that much. Maldives is a country where they charge a lot more than what they charge to locals. This hotel shouldn't be listed under Trip.com.
