This is a lovely little guesthouse, located right on West Lake. As well as the lake, there are lots of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops near by.
My room was nicely decorated with art and a guitar, very comfortable and perfectly clean. The shower has great water pressure and consistent hot water.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
Some people may find the stairs up to the room a little difficult but it shouldn't be problematic for the vast majority.

The room was quite quiet. The customer service staff was very nice and came out to receive us. We were given a building on the third floor, which is very close to the West Lake and the commercial street nearby. The experience is great!

The location is great. It's right in the alley next to the West Lake. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Fengzhu Garden. There are many delicious food in Zhuwu Alley, which is convenient for shopping and eating. The facilities in the room are quite good, with air conditioning, heating, and a large bathtub. It is a unique experience to brush your teeth on the terrace of the house and look at the rooftops of the nearby houses. I rented a motorcycle from a B&B and took my baby for a ride and went boating on the West Lake. My baby had a great time!

The room was very bad, with no lighting, dark and damp, and a smell of sewer + mold. The bathroom was not separated into dry and wet areas, and the whole bathroom was wet after taking a shower. The sound insulation was very poor, and people in other rooms could hear their conversations clearly. In fact, there are many good B&Bs around, and you should be able to book a lot of rooms at a similar price.
