I am writing this review based on a message sent by the hotel through the trip.com platform (which is ok) and a "satisfaction survey" email message sent directly to my email address despite of my explicitly expressed disagreement for receiving unsolicited marketing communication at the time of the check-in (which is not ok).
The hotel staff is very kind and friendly. There are lot of free parking spaces on the street which is very convenient. The area is calm and quiet. Rooms are clean, but the soundproofing is not as good as they pretend. Since rooms are just meters away from the reception and the entrance of the cafe, in the mornings the noise is disturbing.
I would recommend the hotel with the expectation they will take the more seriously the requests for opting out of marketing information.

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere between Granada and Malaga, I chose this ☆☆☆ hotel for price reasons. The hotel met my expectations with one caveat. I received a friendly welcome late in the evening, although the lady at reception didn't really understand the booking system. There was also a can of beer for the thirsty guest. The breakfast was praiseworthy, lovingly prepared for only €8. The beautiful veranda with seating will probably only reveal its charm in the spring. There are free parking spaces on the main road. Now for the caveat: the room smelled really bad. So much so that I got a headache. Even leaving the window open all night at 1°C didn't help. The hotel urgently needs to do something about this.
