IRIS HILL VILLA

Me and I had the opportunity to stay in Hue 3N3 D, Hue gave me a very wonderful cgiac, including the people here, especially the villa accommodation is very reasonable. Very close to the center, a little bit of a motorbike to come. Convenient location, far from the city bus, clean and airy space, king bed for 2 people. The room is fragrant, clean, very new. The balcony is open, opening the window is full of light in the room. Nice swimming pool. The owner is very cute, the rv gives a very good place to eat. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Hue, I will definitely come back here. A great first experience!
Silk Path Grand Hue Hotel

This hotel is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The building itself is beautiful, the interior is stunning and the staff so helpful and friendly. Beautiful artwork on the walls, huge high ceilings with chandeliers, all furnished with beautiful taste. We were upgraded to a suite, which was wonderful. The whole experience from start to finish is first class. Literally a few minutes walk from the train station, the hotel is a minute's walk from river where you can walk through a park alongside the river to walk into town.
Hue Riverside Boutique Resort & Spa

Unfortunately this hotel was a bit of a disappointment in most areas. It’s a beautiful setting by the river but the location isn’t ideal, being at least 5km away from places of interest. This made ordering Grab taxis difficult as they’d never come out to collect us this far away from the centre of Hue. The room itself wasn’t as clean as we’d have liked and there was always a number of creepy crawlies in the room with us. (To be fair they did warn us about this) The hotel did have a beautiful swimming pool although this was unfortunately closed for two of the three days that we stayed here for. Lastly the cost for staying here is a little cheeky. We’ve been in Vietnam now for almost 4 months and in that time we’ve stayed at many different hotels. This has probably been the worst one, yet it was the one that cost us the most money per night. All of the others have been nicer hotels offering so much more. I’d like to end with some positives. Firstly we couldn’t fault the customer service, all of the staff have been super friendly to us. Also, the breakfast was very tasty here, giving us a good start for each day we stayed. Looking for a quiet peaceful time? Then this hotel will work fine for you. However, if you’re planning on doing some sight seeing and socialising, pick somewhere closer to the centre.
Hachi Homestay Spa

Lovely open architect-designed home with large Zen like bedrooms. Set in a lane15 minutes out of Hué amongst banana trees and local houses with chickens in the garden. All very real, very safe, very Vietnamese and lovely. We were looked after perfectly. We took a taxi to Hué every evening to eat. I recommend this place. Vg value

Comfortable stay but could have been better
Hue Ecolodge

We came here with our 2 kids, also based on previous good reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with reality. The road to get here is already, let's say, adventurous, but ok, we knew it isn't at the city centre (our taxi driver asked us to tip him more because the road is so bad and he needs a lot of time to get back... From the centre of Hue it's about 30 minutes, and around 150K Dong/6€/6$). The buildings look nice enough and newish, but the grounds look unfinished, with a lot of stuff lying around, mostly dead organic material and fallen fruit. It comes across like someone had started tending to things, but stopped half way through. The people are friendly, we've experienced nothing else in Vietnam, but there's a bit of professionalism missing all across. The room itself was nicely styled and clean, the bed (very) hard, and we found no safe. We've only had breakfast here, no buffet as there weren't enough guests apparently, which was definitely not the best we've had during our trip around Vietnam. Overall we wouldn't come here again, but would probably take a hotel located more centrally, especially for a short stay, as from here, you'll not be able to experience Hue that easily.
