Its very beautifully articulated ,from the moment we step into the compound , our eyes àre feasting at the beautiful setup at hall , the room , the gardens , terrace , passage way , lightings and everything . Despite being in the heart of thne properous tunxi old street , within the hotel compound its peacefully quiet and serene .

When traveling to Anhui for the first time, I did not choose the more famous Hongcun, but Chengkan, which has a niche reputation. The proprietress of this B&B is very enthusiastic, arranges pick-up and drop-off for guests, and is very patient no matter how late the guests arrive. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, and was given as a small gift when checking out. Beautiful Chengkan has mountains and rivers. Although there are no mountains or lakes, a quick walk in the ancient villages can calm your impetuous mind. If you are tired of the fast pace of big cities, why not stay here for a while and listen to the chirping of crickets and frogs at night... If you have been to Chengkan, you will never have troubles in your life.

Thank you so much SU House for hosting us in this lovely village. The location is absolutely stunning next to a little lake with the view on the ancient village with the famous with houses. The staff is very very friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant is in a wonderful ancient building with attention to details like fresh flowers and nice decoration. The room are very cozy and comfortable beds. Very delicious local food are serve as well. In the village is a lovely coffee shop that is also run by the hotel.

I rarely review accommodation, but this time I really want to praise this B&B. A very good stay experience. I want to give this B&B 5 stars➕. The room is very clean and tidy, with a full sense of design. Every corner has been given an artistic touch by the boss. The colors are warm and relaxing. The bedding is very comfortable. The surrounding area It's quiet, the air is good, and it's rare to sleep until dawn. There is a large projector in the lobby to watch movies and a massage bed to relax. The boss and his family are very nice. They drink tea and chat in a relaxed and casual manner, without feeling like outsiders. The breakfast is great, rich in variety, delicious and beautiful. There are a lot of elegant and textured tableware. The boss's skill in preparing the dinner is also very good and delicious~ The store has attentive service and even tables and chairs for the little ones are prepared, which is really satisfying People don’t want to leave even if they are here!

The store didn't let me help with the evaluation. After struggling for a long time, I decided to give a good review - because I think it's really good. I'm afraid that too many people will book it if the evaluation is too good, and the price will increase or it will not be booked next time. Hahahahaha~ I stayed for 12 hours and wanted to take 120 photos. It's a very small and beautiful hotel. The garden design is beautiful, the interior design is convenient, and the key is that the price-performance ratio is really high. And it breaks my perception of homestays. I always think that the management of homestays may have some problems and the hygiene may not be in place, but this one is really super clean. It's the only homestay where you can take a bath with confidence. All service staff are very good. They have basic confirmation of the itinerary pick-up station and will help coordinate the arrangements for guests. The toiletries are also very easy to use. After taking a bath, you can go directly to the public bathroom. Although it is also small, the toiletries are complete. In short, the design is full of humanistic care everywhere. The overall feeling is comparable to that of a high-end hotel. The tea sent is also very fragrant. Before leaving, a small bag of tea was sent as a souvenir.
The only drawback is not the hotel but the scenic spot. Although Xixinan has become popular online and commercially bustling, the overall hotel and shopping facilities are not yet very complete (mainly reflected in the fact that when I was taking a bath too comfortably and wanted to order a milk tea, I found that there was no takeout from the chain milk tea shops around, hahahahahaha)

Chengkan is beautiful. The B&B is an old courtyard renovated, which is great! Especially the lotus pond is right at the door of the B&B. You can see the scenery without leaving the B&B. It is recommended to stay there.

The homestay is very good, beyond imagination. I didn't come to Chengxi Xinan last year. This year, the flood was afraid that the water in the river was too mixed. The two babies specially chose a homestay with a swimming pool. The 8*25-meter swimming pool and a small swimming pool were great for the children. They could soak in it for a day. The homestay also has its own restaurant. Outside the restaurant is farmland. The big geese and ducks raised by the homestay are too red. They are not willing to go when they are quacked by the river. At night, I set off fireworks in the yard, put river lights, and made fish lights with other guests. This fish lamp is too complicated to do the heart of the old mother haha. The local activity atmosphere is very good. The atmosphere of the homestay is also very good. Overall, it is a very good experience. Butler-style service is poor to help us bring the baby haha, very, very good

I particularly like this kind of homestay with a sense of design, which gives me a very satisfying experience. The public area is very large, and the boss must be rich, hahaha. In this alley of Huizhou, the homestay with a plain appearance but overflowing with Zen style inside makes people feel peaceful, comfortable and serene. It is recommended to have more varieties of breakfast, such as adding some beef or miscellaneous sauce to the side dishes of noodles. The wooden comb in the room can be kept as a souvenir, and a souvenir was given when leaving, which has a full emotional value.

Environmental location: Invincible environment mountain view, the scenery is too beautiful. It is very close to the South Gate, and the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off at the transfer center. Hygiene: very clean. Service: The ladies at the front desk are very nice, and the breakfast they cook is delicious, and they even offered to help with laundry (thanks). Facilities: The rooms are spacious, bright and well-equipped. The first choice for coming to Huangshan, super recommended!

The first time I came here by myself, I really enjoyed it. This time I brought my parents here. The whole family was so satisfied that they wanted to come back right away.
There are many highlights:
1. The two bosses are very nice people and we have become friends.
2. The room and yard are only close to Fengle Lake, and the scenery can be directly viewed from the large floor-to-ceiling windows. Sitting in the yard is also very comfortable. Every detail in the room is very thoughtful, right down to the placement of plastic slippers and so on.
3. The second brother’s cooking skills are very good, every dish is delicious, and the price is very reasonable, even cheap.
4. I accidentally saw the sunrise by the window. I ran downstairs to the lake and watched the beautiful sunrise.
5. Walking very close to the commercial street of the ancient village, you can see a large forest without any hustle and bustle. You can also walk to the other side of the village (Shiqiao Village) to see the large lake and walk around the village.
The overall experience was full of happiness! I wish my eldest brother and my second brother a prosperous business and good health, and I wish more people can experience the joy of living here😀.

GGregMII chose the 0517 hotel after reading great reviews, and they were not wrong! Starting with the simple things, the location is so convenient being in the part of town nearest the park’s south entrance. You can walk there in ~15 minutes, passing several options for a street food breakfast along the way. There is also a good selection of restaurants for dinner, and a very nice bakery to pick up snacks for the day. The long distance buses arrive at a bus station a few km away, but the hotel will arrange the pickup for you, free of charge.
The hotel’s design in the rooms and shared spaces is very modern & clean, in a style appreciated by westerners. The rooms are on the small side, but have everything you need.
Leaving the best point until last – the highlight here is the customer service provided by the owner Timo and his staff. 11/10! Nothing is too much trouble, they will help you with everything from trip planning, to organizing local shared taxi to surrounding areas, to storing luggage, or whatever. On both the nights there, I had a long, friendly chat with him and a couple of others over a drink in the evening. Felt more like being his personal guest than being in a hotel. HIGHLY recommended!

GGuest UserReally enjoyed my stay here! The owner is very helpful and friendly. We do not have any China number of ID but he guided us along the way. He also gave recommendation for the food and activity in Tunxi.
The smart room is clean with all the amenities. It even has a Xiaomi home!
It is located near the shopping and eating area, as well as the 老街。Location is good.
I will really recommend this place to stay if you are going to Tunxi. If you going to huangshan, is a one hour car ride the the foot of the mountain - which is what we did too.

XXuelangyiAs an authentic Huizhou native who left home when I was young, I came to Hongcun and met Zhang Gongguan for the first time, but I was amazed by the whole ink painting Qingming. After walking through the streets and alleys, I finally found the low-key house number. I opened a small door and opened a paradise. The antique Ming and Qing Dynasty old houses, restored in the Hui-style style, and simple and elegant furniture make people feel like they have traveled through time and space and returned to the prosperous ancient Huizhou of the past. In the front hall and back yard, the centuries-old mottled walls are paired with the black and white colors of Qingming rain, but it also has a sense of vicissitudes like ”in the old days, when kings went to the hall and swallows flew into the homes of ordinary people”, it was as if they were in a Chinese ink painting. This is an old house with a history of 300 years. It is located in the core scenic area of Hongcun. It only takes 3 minutes to walk to Moon Marsh. There are many types of guest rooms with different styles. Almost all of them feature Chinese retro style. The carved wooden beds, wooden couches and dressing tables are all antique designs. The calligraphy, paintings and porcelain in the room highlight the famous Hui school. The door is an antique wooden door latch. key. The facilities in the bathroom are absolutely high-end. Dyson hair dryers and Hermès bath products are both rich in history and considerate. The owner lives with his guests and has four cats, several courtyards, and a beautiful swimming pool. The guests can drink tea and relax while leaning on the garden view. The butler's service was extremely attentive. He asked about the soundproofing at night, prepared a heart-warming breakfast in the morning, took our luggage all the way from the parking lot to the CI, dragged our luggage up the narrow stairs of the old house, and used a small electric donkey to carry our luggage again before we left. Return to the parking lot. I want to say here that the wooden stairs in the old Hui-style houses are narrow and shaky, and the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good. If you come to immerse yourself in the old house life, don’t complain and pay more attention to yourself. In short, this place really made my impression of Hongcun become more beautiful and full of nostalgia. It is undoubtedly the best private hotel in the village, and it feels like a dream that I will never wake up from.

GGuest UserFirst of all, we have to praise the owner of Minsu Hotel. He was very responsive to our requests. He helped us with our luggage, arranged carpooling, and asked us if we needed to change our supplies (because we stayed there for two consecutive days). Secondly, the decoration style of Minsu Hotel is also great. You can see the staggered eaves through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The mattress is very comfortable to sleep on, and the quality of the toiletries is also very good. If there is any shortcoming, it is that the induction mirror is too sensitive. For girls who love to be pretentious, there is a lack of a makeup mirror and a full-length mirror.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and tidy, with a large bed and a small bed, which was very comfortable to sleep in. Floor heating throughout the house. No need to turn on the air conditioner at all. Perhaps the only thing you need to get used to is the need to lock the door when entering and exiting, but this is also a feature. After all, it is a house with a history of more than 400 years. The owner was very nice and polite. He helped us with our luggage and even took us to the village entrance. He was very welcoming throughout the whole process! Really full of details! Come again when you have the chance! In addition, the food is also very delicious, all freshly made without pre-preparation!

GGuest UserMy stay in Tingquan Xiaoyuan has been absolutely delightful.
I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge.
The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day.
The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night.
The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre.
In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family.
I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language.
I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

GGuest UserThe Pig’s Inn is a very cozy place that makes you feel like home. Bishan village is far away from the city so I asked the hotel for help with taxi arrangement. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gave me the contact to the driver who was always on time and gave me lots of tips about hiking up mount Huang. The room in the hotel was really clean and warm regardless of the very cold weather outside. The hotel staff is super nice, they waited for us with dinner till really late. As my family is really picky when it comes to food Pig’s Inn was a perfect place to eat dinner and breakfast as they made all the dishes according to the needs of my family. In the evening there was a huge spider in our room (came there suddenly), the nice woman form the hotel helped us to remove it from the room. Everything was perfect and our trip was really nice thanks to the Pig’s Inn ☺️

ZZiboerweikaailixiyaWhen I arrived at the station at 9pm, I had to ask the boss to pick me up. After calling the boss, the communication was very smooth. They discussed the next day's trip along the way, which was very atmospheric. The boss's assistant contacted Carpool and took charge of driving us into the mountains early in the morning. Fortunately, they had experience, otherwise it would have been troublesome for a bunch of people behind us.
The food is very simple and firm, and they take care of the taste. It's delicious!

GGuest UserThe rooms are really clean and nice, location is near the waterfall, from which you can hike up to the mountain if you’re a serious hiker. It’s family owned hotel so everything is very authentic. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, helped us a lot with planning and organising the route for our hikes and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
